VID
Welcome to a special, behind the scenes episode of the Helpful Science Show with your dearly darling host, the Helpful Scientist Sho!
In these episodes, we pull back the cold curtain of science to engage with those who help keep this show possible, the once quiet audience who is quiet no more. We have here today letters from a few of our viewers that we'll be taking the time to go through and address one by one!

For now, I'll be assigning nicknames- ah if you'd like me to assign you a name too, let me know!

[ CASTS THAT SHIT ONTO THE TV. ]
I have to say the technical ability is quite impressive in the work, 3d animation must be a tricky medium to work in. The voice modification is also worth noting, as I'm pretty sure prior to this moment I have probably not used the sounds 'pon' or 'wei' in a way that's easy to edit out. Unless you have some other technology to accomplish this in which case that's super interesting and you should definitely let me know what that technology is so I can see if I can get it here.
For science purposes of course.
Thank you PonWei-chan for your cute video, and I hope to see more of your work in the future!

Hello to all our wonderful audience members! This Scarlet Sunrise of pep! pep! posting a special video to answer all your fanmail. It was so sweet of you all to write to me, and I had a few questions and special requests, so let's get this started.

Thank you for believing in my and the power of love. You're right, it is incredible, and while I'm not sure things will turn out like you drew, I'll keep being good friends with D☆☆dl☆m☆n-s☆n.
I still won't share the picture with him though~ A girl has to keep some secrets.

I wish I had an answer for you. I want to be able to help those children in future. In my memory, it felt like we had met plenty of times before, and I was only sharing that boy's memories of what had happened so I wasn't present for the... the actual events... I sincerely hope I remember being able to help them soon. I did believe in that boy, he was doing his best too and I'm sure he'll pull through, so, wheverever they are right now, I hope they're happy and smiling together.

Um... Hello. This is Sol, from Taisho Roman Revolution. This is the first time I record one of these "vids," so I hope I'm doing it right. I don't know if anyone will watch this, but if you are, please let me know if I make any mistakes and I'll try to fix them next time.

Fanmail response vid
Is this recording? Hm!
Hey, everybody! I saw everyone making video responses to fanmail and it looked like a lot of fun, so I'm giving it a shot. This is my first vid! I have no idea what I'm doing. But I got some really nice mail and I wanted to say thanks!

[He reads this one aloud.]
Naturally, I care about everyone in my unit and want them to be happy. And it's true that many of the other members of pep!pep! are younger than I am, but wow! Have you met them?! Every single person is amazing, and I'm honestly very proud to share a unit with them.
I don't really think any of them particularly need me to take care of them, since they're all so independent and capable on their own. I do want to support them, though! If there's something I can do to help them achieve their goals, then I want to be there for them as much as possible!
Thank you so much for caring about us. I'm going to do my best! Feel free to write back if you think of things I can do for my unit to help them out. I'll be thinking hard, too!

[the vid starts with a mad, slightly unhinged cackle. . . a crack of thunder. . . a flash of lightning. the scenery? what looks to be a weird mixture between a witch's study and a scientist's laboratory. Infinity sits in a cozy looking spinny chair, which she sloooowly turns around until it's facing the camera. her expression is twisted into a wicked smile. she is patting some kind of creature on the head while two robot spiders sit on her shoulders]
[she is definitely giving off the "evil villain" vibe]
Greetings my dear, slightly unhinged, extremely nosy subjects. Welcome to Wicked Infinity Chatty Chipper Hour with your host, me! Infinity! Today, I'd like to show you a little about the girl behind the villain, so to speak. And what better way to start then to engage with my adoring future text subjects? And now, without further ado. . .

Bienfu! Fetch me my mail!
[. . . and then the creature skitters off while Infinity settles cozily in her seat again, drumming her fingers against the arm as her robot spiders crawl creepily across her shoulders]

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, everyone~♪
Angel is here once again to respond to all of your kind letters! I received a lot of fan letters this time around, and that makes me happy! It doesn't matter how long or short the letters are, positive or negative, I am glad to receive it all! I hope you will all sit and listen as I respond to them all!

This is so much! I can't believe you worked this hard to make this for all of us! Look how CUTE I am in this! I think you got my charm down very well, but you got EVERYONE down perfectly! I get to add this to a bookshelf collection . . . oh, but I should get a bookshelf, huh? Thank you so much though, this is so wonderful! I hope we have adventures like this in the future!

Uhm . . . let's see.
[ bringing his hand up to run against his hair, thoughtful ]
I've never really done one of these before - but I realized that . . . perhaps, this would actually be a better way to communicate - ?
[ and he tilts his head, facing the camera with a sheepish sort of smile. ]
My apologies to everyone who has waited so patiently. Mm, then . . . I'll begin -

Good morning again, my friends. As with before, since you have each taken such pains to prepare correspondence to me, I shall do my best to respond in turn.
[ He reaches over to take a slow sip of his tea. ]
Shall we begin?
no subject
Ah yes, the one who seemed very concerned about my relationship status. I must inform you that I have no immediate need to engage in a relationship with anyone at this present moment. Much less someone who poses as something they are not.
That said, since you appear to have intense interest in things that can be described as furry, I hope you can be aptly satisfied with this.
[ He presents an ink sketch of his wolf self showing its ass to the viewer, tail held aloft ]
Do write me again.

My familiars -
[ she's a little sleepy after having gotten up so early, actually, so bombastic speech is a little beyond her... ]
Good morning. I hope this video finds you well... Rather than replying by hand, because it seems like I'm not able to send you anything in return, I'll be responding to your letters like this. As always, thank you for taking the time to write to me! I'm really glad to have such wonderful familiars.
no subject
[ holding up this one, before reading it aloud ]
This is the first letter I'd received. Then, to my familiar, the poet -
If I could send you more paper, then I would, but I'm grateful that you took the time to write to me, even though it made you use all of your paper... I wrote a response to you, too, back when you first sent this, but I didn't really realize that getting it sent to you would be so difficult, and then a few this happened... well, I'm sure you know about all of those things by now. But I didn't want to let you go thinking that I didn't read your letter, or didn't reply to it, just because you might have missed a recording of me writing a reply, or not have been able to see what I was writing... I don't really know how video recordings work, except that this is supposed to reach you for certain, so I hope that it does. I don't want any of you to go unresponded to. I'm happy to know that I was able to inspire you to write something, especially if it's difficult for you to express yourself normally... there's nothing strange about the way that you speak. All humans have differing traits that make them charming, and your words might be yours! But if your friends find it difficult to understand you, then it might be worthwhile to think about how you can help them, too, and -
[ umm ]
And... I got a little off-track, I think, but I'm happy to know that you like me so much, too. If I could be by your side, then I would be!
Thank you for writing. I love you.

Sup, my shining rays! Ya boy Sunshine is here to answer your charming letters.
[ He holds up one letter in such a way that it displays the blood red coloring of his nails. ]
To keep things organized, I'm going to come up with some cute nicknames for everyone. If that's not your bag, feel free to provide your own next time and I'll use those instead.
