For starters, more about the future. Or ... whatever "modern" time is. Most of the stuff here is way more advanced than what I'm used to.

What's the latest year that you remember?

I don't remember the exact year, but I don't remember anything like TVs or cellphones or computers.

I remember TVs a bit, but I don't think they were like these...

What about radios?

Are those like telephones?

A little. It's like a telephone that only has a speaker. Broadcasts are made at a station, and then they travel to the radio through waves. Then, when you turn the radio on, you can hear what's being said into the microphone at the station in real time, like with a telephone!

Okay, so I definitely haven't heard of those before.

... Those sound less advanced than TVs, though.

It is, but I don't know very much about TVs either.

[ a small pause, ]

Good at what? Having a basic conversation?

Oh, well, you're good at talking too, but I was talking about my hair. This feels nice!

I try to. It's long, so I braid it before I go to sleep and brush it when I wake up.

Why not get it cut?

Oh... I don't know. I've never thought about cutting it before. Can I do that?

It'd be more convenient, I guess, but I won't be able to share my ribbons with Luci and Red if I do that . . .
