[ He takes the pool cue, giving Childe a curious look as he heads over to the corner of the table. He stays there for a moment, tapping his chin before leaning over to line up a shot with the eleven in the corner pocket.

But before he actually strikes the ball: ]

[ childe doesn't move for a moment, instead watching as zhongli approaches the table. he waits until he chooses the ball and its pocket and then heads over. ] I know you said you know what you're doing...

But.

[ he presses into him, setting a hand on his arm and 'casually' sliding it along until he reaches the hand that's on the cue, lacing his fingers into zhongli's. his other arm circles his waist, so he can pull him back just a little, then move the hand to his thigh to change his stance... although honestly it's just a reason to get overly handsy. ] Like this. [ whispers into his ear. ]

[ get it now, zhongli,
do you get it now? ]

[ Yes. With multiple hints from both Childe and Alizarin, he gets it now. He squeezes their fingers that are laced together in affirmation of why Childe wanted to play anything as calm and precision based as pool of all things. ]

[ And while he should have more decorum with others present, he instead shamelessly leans back into Childe, pressing one leg between his and turning his head slightly so he can brush his lips against Childe's cheek. ]

So. Does this mean you will help me take the shot?

[ ...you know, he should have known better than to play with fire. ]

[ clears his throat, ...several times. ] Excuse me. I think the fire water is getting to me. Yeah, of course, that's the point of all of this. [ or something. ]

[ he tries to refrain from moving too much, but he inevitably has to be a jerk and press into zhongli, hard, to pin him to the table. he's not losing this game of gay chicken. but also... pulling off this shot and doing it well is going to be hard when he's only fucking up zhongli's formerly perfect posture/position. ]

He lifts his free hand not laced with Childe's and pats him on the cheek. ]

... [ oh, right. blink blink. ] Sure. [ he backs off, so they can switch positions. time to somehow be accidentally and overtly sexual at the same time, because he's overthinking just about everything at the moment. going to line the shot up for a good four and a half minutes before taking it and THANKFULLY sinking the ball, but it was definitely far from perfect. ]

[ There is no way that Zhongli is not going to drape similarly on Childe during the process, except he's not even trying to help his posture. He just wraps his arms around his abdomen and resting his chin on Childe's shoulder, not saying a word as he takes the shot. ]

[ this is something he expects! and it's what he deserves after everything he did. his face just gets progressively redder and redder as he stands there, hunched over the table, 'lining up' the shot for those four and a half minutes. it's a miracle it goes in, to be honest, what with the added weight of zhongli on him and his heart thrumming in his chest. ]

[ he takes the shot and manages to sink it, but not without the casualty of another ball. ]

Have the rules been decided on what is the penalty for that?

[childeishly]

I'm afraid not. [ he peers back at him. ] My punishment, er, penalty is in your capable hands, Xiansheng.

[ Surely Caeli is wearing a scarf or tie or scrap of dangling cloth (lover of belts and buckles that he is) that Zhongli can pull on to lead him away from the pool table. ]

[ he's probably got some kind of scarf on, so zhongli can easily drag him away by it. he doesn't say anything... merely grins. ]

Well then - he is pushing Childe down onto one of the animal-print couches and then making himself comfortable in his lap with his head resting on Childe's shoulder ]

... [ gives a little laugh and sets a hand on zhongli's back, patting it. ] Is my punishment not being able to move?
