I always have mixed feelings about it. As an instinct and a feeding method and a form of intimacy, I crave it. Because it injures and deprives others, I shy away from it.

So it's my emotional state more than anything. After having hurt so many people, I don't want to do more of it. Even if they don't see it that way.

It won't last forever.

I do believe I am being challenged to fuss over three people simultaneously while imbibing more alcohol than I would prefer after an unfortunate game. And I do believe this is a challenge I will accept.

Doctor could use all the help he can get keeping me in line, I'm sure. It's a full time job and then some. [ Doctor finds it a challenge to tell her no about most things, and she knows it, and she isn't above exploiting it now and then. ]

I think I might need a little of the drinking to settle my stomach first. [ Which wouldn't make a lick of sense unless her lack of appetite was fully due to an overabundance of bad feelings. ] They look good, though.

I also cannot keep up with his energy and distraction making after such a game - so I would be ever appreciative if you tire him out for me before I put him to bed.
