I think so. I have had difficulty understanding others' feelings--and my own--both here, and in my memories. And even when I do understand, it is entirely a novel feeling. I want to experience the wealth and breadth of human emotion... but I have no idea what I'm doing most of the time.

It may not be the same as your situation, but I sympathize, nonetheless.
