I do my best not to think like that. It seems like a lot of people have at least two mates, but being loved by a couple of people just means that you get more love. And you deserve to be loved by more people... especially that wily fox.

[ he sets Scaramouche on a table and takes a seat on the floor, setting his head in his lap. ] I do not. It is too precious to be carrying around anywhere. But will you come back to the dorm with me so I may give it to you? Or if you’d like to wait here I can quickly go and get it. Whichever.

Alright. [ pentium smiles and gets back up, turning so scaramouche can climb onto his back. ] I look forward to it. I think you'll like it. [ he's excited!!! he worked so hard on it!!! ]

[ hurries back to the hotel~! enjoy the ride~! ]

[ eventually they reach the hotel ( and by extension, baritones ) so pentium drops scara off at his room. ]

I have the tastiest snack right here. [ gives him one last lick before trotting off into his own room to pick up something, which he stashes in his satchel. he'd still like it to be a surprise. ]

[ when he comes back he takes a seat a few feet from scaramouche, removing the satchel and setting it down in between them and nosing it closer. ] For you, Tsukiakari.

[ it’s just pentium’s satchel. he hadn’t wrapped the gift or anything, so it was just a means to get it here and hide it. but inside!!! is a fragile glass container vaguely shaped like a heart and inside that a ring - though it’s currently white, a bit of silver in there too. ]

It’s made of bone and metal… [ he moves closer, setting a claw on scaramouche’s thigh. ] Because that is what I am made out of. I used that other body of mine to make it - carved and worked pieces of it into a little ring just for you. I figure, if you accept, we can stain it [ he noses his cheek, along his face to his ear. ] with a little bit of you.

[ sets his head in his lap. ] Feels are complicated, downright annoying sometimes, but all I know is that when I’m with you I’m happy, and I want to keep being happy. I hope you accept my ring and understand just how important it is… and how you are to me.

Ah ... well, I want to take you having given something like this to someone else as a good excuse to get mad at you and reject the ring. Then, perhaps I could put some distance between us and tell you I've gotten tired, so it doesn't matter anymore.

... But I'm not going to. I'll take the ring, knowing what it means. Just don't say it out loud yet. I need a little more time, or I really will run.
