[ there's an old lady in the lobby who has seated herself at a table and has a set of tools in front of her. honestly it's enough tools that it's like, has she been only using points to buy materials while she's been here?

but anyway. she looks at the camera. she summons all her enthusiasm, which is to say, none. ]

If you've something you'd like to get patched up or tuned up, I'll do it for cost of materials plus a hundred points an hour. I'm willing to discuss custom projects. None of this magic repair or gadgeteering nonsense; I don't trust it.

In any case, if you're really so interested in my personal projects, I'll expound on them in a less publicly-televised forum. Suffice to say for now I'm doing a bit of exploration.

But, well. Tell me what you're going for and I'll tell you one way or another.

He's someone I care a lot about. [ look, it's not that she wants to send Velleity to Causality's door with questions although please do that, it's just that any term she thought of felt like lying. ]

I'm hoping you might be able to build something that can hold a -- hm. Like a chrysalis with a person inside it. The point would be to protect the contents and make it safe to transport. So it has to be sort of large and able to be moved without expending a whole lot of strength [ she loves Venti but he ain't exactly a body builder ] and it can't be airtight.

I'd want it to be coded so only certain people can open it, or it could also be opened from the inside without needing to expend terribly much patience or mental effort. And if there was a way to store a few things inside there protected from the membrane and fluid that would be great, but it's not totally necessary. One of those things would be a katana.

I know it might cost a lot, but I'm willing to pay whatever is necessary. And I'm sorry for the very weird request, I promise I'll explain whatever you want to know.

Right. That's a lot to ask, but I'll look into it—certainly not impossible, but I don't know if they'll let me have the tools. I'm going to want specific measurements, though. Who's going to be moving it?

I'm pretty sure it fills the available space, so maybe a little bigger than I would be, if I were loosely curled up.

Venti's probably going to be the one moving it most often -- he's not that much bigger than me, so as easy as it can be to move. [ Venti will have his powers back once they get out of here and back to his world but she's not going to get into all that, not her story to tell. ]

All right, so—you're going in it. Send along your height in centimeters and weight in kilograms plus shoulder and hip measurements, plus how much your friend can lift, give or take. Can he lift you, as you are right now?

He's lifted me while he was flying, but I think one of your unitmates' devices was aiding him so I'll check again. [ Venti's going to hate this but she'll sing off key at him until he agrees ]

Rolling's definitely feasible. Hovering, no idea. Technical details'll need a bit of trial and error, so can't make any timeline promises, mind.
