[ Wei Wuxian drifts along in the air amid the gardens while comfortably seated upon an enlarged lotus flower leaf. To a degree, it originated out of needing a coping method for the very severe, acute claustrophobia he was faced with after the HeartForge game. Regardless of that effect finally wearing off, he still rather enjoys it.

Thankfully he feels relatively better, now, compared to the past several days. The sound of an easy melody being played upon a bamboo flute (a purchase he made awhile back) can be heard throughout. ]

[ He's on his way to wash off his hands after getting some daily maintenance gardening done, but the sound of the flute catches his attention enough to go looking for it, carefully refraining from touching anything so he doesn't spread dirt around once he finds the source. ]

Yeah. The sound does seem to carry, huh?

Many. Although I also like to improvise, so, whatever sort of mood I might be in.

[ He hums briefly in thought, before beginning to play. The tune isn't quite as bright and upbeat as the first, but instead slightly weighted- only slightly on the melancholy side, while still settled and warm. He's feeling fairly alright today. Much better, compared to a couple of days ago. ]

[ Quiet as he listens to the melody, waiting for him to wrap the song before saying anything. ]

Hmm, I don't think I do? I've never tried any, at least, and I haven't had any associated memories.

It's a stringed instrument, long and made from wood. Usually its played upon the person's lap or a sat on a table. Lan Zhan has very deft, skilled fingers.
