...I was sure that one of us killed this guy, and that they had to figure out who, no matter what. And I felt like that girl was way too trusting. I was hiding something from her, I think...

Though, not that I killed him.

Had that been what you were hiding, encouraging doubt would be counter-productive.

That said, refrain from being suspected for murder here. This situation is stressful enough without it being compounded.

Should you ever find yourself in a situation that seems likely to end that way, you may wish to carry a brush to call a live. If the footage is recorded simultaneously, you will have proof it is was not done by your hand.
