[As for the time travel - that was a lot to unpack. His instinct was to ask why, but it was a question as callous as it was easy to answer: obviously because he cared about Wade. Apparently more than his family - or was he really that self sacrificing that he'd give up ever seeing them again to reverse that fatal mistake?
