Could you tell me what it's like to have wings? I feel like I'd really like something beautiful like that to focus on while I dissociate.

I mean, sure. I think we were a little further evolved than normal birds, because we could also use them to pick up and hold stuff... but mostly, hm. They sit differently! Compared to arms where there's never really a good place to put them, wings fold up right against your body like... on their own? So you're never awkwardly knocking things over with them unless you get overexcited, for one thing.
