... apparently.

[Yeah, he saw your text to the group chat earlier today]
no subject
... speaking of which, what's your stance?
no subject
You're going to have to be a little more specific.
no subject
[though right now, seriously questioning himself on that last part.]
no subject
no subject
Realistically, in as few pieces as possible.
no subject
I meant your meeting. Gathering everyone puts all eyes and ears of our hosts on your little meeting and whatever plan people agree to. You're serving them information on a silver platter. For what gain?
no subject
Not only that, but from what B says, that Exael mentioned this is Tokyo F. If that's the case, there's two possibilities.
[holds up one finger]
Either they're lying about the designation of this place or...
[holds up a second finger]
They've done this five other times. Meaning, they've probably seen five different approaches to this. Chances are if that's the case, then one of the previous Tokyos may have tried this approach, in which case, it doesn't hurt to rehash.

For example---
Say, the units come to an agreement on what to do. Say it's agreed upon that the goody-two-shoe team always takes the hits because they'd feel too guilty and sad boo-hoo otherwise.
That's scripted and boring, and this is a reality show.
If I were the hosts, I'd remove that team from the next game's participation and then where would we all be? In the same situation as if we hadn't met at all and minus team masochist who loves taking the hit for the "greater good".
no subject
The point of the meeting isn't for solidifying a plan any further than to establish we're all in the same boat here. We're all in this situation together whether we like it or not. That we were put onto separate units--that's irrelevant.
[kind of. shakes his head.]
Everyone keeps asking me "What's your plan?" but it's not like I have a plan in the first place. I'm not the smartest one here--you've probably got me beaten by miles with that.
But what I do seem to know is people.
Which would you prefer? Going separate ways and inevitably tearing at each others' throats which is sure to entertain our hosts easily and without much effort on their part? Or making them work for their entertainment?
no subject
Your problem is that you want to somehow make this fair or ensure one unit doesn't over-martyr themselves. But everyone here...
[A slight pause as he mulls over something but then continues]
Most people here are capable of being responsible for their own actions. So let them do whatever the fuck they want.
And as for the unit that is the first to attack another unit - if they're stupid enough to put that much of a target on their back then let them pay for their own stupidity.
no subject
I'm the one with plenty of experience on how that's not the case, right?
And maybe you have a point that one meeting won't inconvenience them very much, but I'm not saying that meeting will. But it's the first step in a process we can work out along the way. We're going to have to play it by ear one way or another because this is reality television to them, after all. And the people I've met here seem capable enough to be able to wing things as needed.
Why are you so quick to put down even a starting point when you can easily see that a number of people do want that point to start from?
no subject
If you and thirty other idiots want to make an alliance, be my guest. You'll see how that crumbles at the first real test of it.
no subject
Play it as safe as you want, Intensity. It won't change things any more or less than making an attempt to stick your neck out even a little.
But keep in mind... people will remember who stood with and who stood apart from everyone else.
[speaking from vaguely remembered experience of being a social outcast]
So at least consider coming to the meeting when it happens, even if you don't want anything to do with any plans that get floated.
no subject
[Gets right up in Boss's personal space, maybe trying to use his height as a little bit of an intimidation factor]
You don't have any clue how safe or unsafe I'm fucking playing this. Or how much I'm willing to stick my neck out.
And don't tell me what to do or what's good for me. Especially under the pretense of you having my best interests at heart.
I'll do what I want, when I want, how I want. And if every person in this damn hellhole hates me for it, then so be it.
no subject
... you know, from this angle? It just sounds more like you're just scared of letting anyone get too close.
