[ Distractions are definitely good, and that's one hell of one. Lupine lets himself be tugged down to sit beside her, and — fffffff muffles a laugh. ]

Oh man. We've got plenty of floral shampoos downstairs, and I can definitely provide if you want some in your hair.

[ Giving Venti a very amused look for that, though. ]

But I hope you're not gonna be relying on my sense of smell, because uh. LiliS got put in the penalty box for our little stunt, and I kind of can't smell or taste anything right now.

Want is a strong word. Compelled is closer. [ And yeah she feels bad about maybe making the poor guy sick all this time. She can't help it, blood smells good to her, why would she mind if it lingered? ]

I'm sure you can figure something out from labels. Anything but roses is fine. [ To say she could not possibly care less what flower she smells like is an understatement, excepting that one qualifier. ]

[ Leeeeeeeeaning against him ] Come with me, hm? I need something pretty to distract me from being thirsty and you letting me wash your hair sounds perfect. [ Long hair is wonderful... on people who aren't herself. ]

[ He chuckles, but — the request definitely gets his attention. Both parts of it, if he's honest.

A little more bloodletting wouldn't exactly bother him. Probably grabbed Pink's arm, lbr, and got himself refreshed before he left the tower. And he did all of his fighting in that — monster form, the clothes he wore in coming out of it somehow fashionably distressed instead of wrecked. He definitely did not exit the tower as covered in mostly-other-people's-blood as he should have.

...but the idea of a shower, or a bath, or...

Actually, maybe he wouldn't mind even just letting her wash his hair in the sink. :|a ]

[ That's the spirit! She pops to her feet, delighted as usual with getting her way. And that's without even the prospect of blood drinking thrown in. And hey, no complaints about the enthusiasm, as ever. ]

Yeah, we're definitely going downstairs to shower. We can bring sIV bath stuff with us, if he made a specific request on how you smell.

[ Feel free to ask about this absolute certainty but it sure is absolute to the point where Lupine is already heading back towards the door. ]

[ She's not going to ask, because who cares? She doesn't assume it's anything sinister like blood showers (which one might think would sound good to vampire but they sure would not), more a comfort level with his own space. So fine, downstairs. She follows him without making it a thing. ]

Just that I not smell like blood. His only specific request needs a little effort, I think. I wonder how I'd even request a flower-scent I've never heard of. It must be from his world.

I feel bad, I didn't even think about how the smell might bother people. But in my defense for this particular day, he's the one who dragged me back here. [ Yeah, she feels guilty. ]

[ gdi sIV why are you so sinister ] [ He doesn't immediately reply, but once they're out in the hallway, he absolutely says over his shoulder, ]

Yeah, and that part is why we're not washing anybody's hair here. [ Lipquirk. ] Unless you wanna risk making the smell worse before we make it better.

[ It's a few more seconds, and he's already hit the call button for the elevator, before 'in my defense' seems to settle on him. ]

—I mean, I'm pretty sure he would've said something earlier if it usually bothered him that much. It's probably at least half because of the game.

I know it's partly the game, but even so. My conscience gets on me sometimes about needing to drink blood in the first place, the last thing I want to do is subject anyone else to smelling it.

Consciences don't much care for logic. [ Hers is all over the place, all the time. And when it shuts up that's when she likes herself the least because she's allowing her darker side to emerge. ]

[ Beat. It would be understandable if he weren't up for the smell right now, though. After today's game, a lot of the players probably won't even want to think about blood for the next — week, being generous.

...But he feels fine on that score. Maybe because Luce was the last thing he 'ate', and Luce didn't taste even slightly like blood?

[ A muffled chuckle, but oh that does not help his smirk. ]

[ And then obviously he would've just opened a vein, instead of what's happening now, which is a tiny bit teasing. Flirty teasing. ]

But yes, if you must know. It's my punishment from the game. I was handling it pretty well until you decided to be a tease. [ This is equal parts complaint and compliment. ]

[ She can't take her eyes off that collar, and her eyes start glowing. Fantastic. She forces her eyes shut and tries to think about anything but his heartbeat in her ears. ]

Careful. [ Tease her too much and this might flip from amusing to dangerous. ]

[ She tries to keep a bit of distance between them as they step onto the landing, but she keeps inching closer. ]

[ He's a little bit terrible about teasing vampires with his neck when he has the chance, honestly. Which is why you should be terrible to him in turn. Maybe you can Ren both. ]

[ With an honest-to-god wink over his shoulder at her. He heads deeper into the dorm, making his way towards the bathing room.

(This is about to be a persuasive argument for him to shell out the points to get himself a private bathroom, isn't it.) ]

[ Laughter, warm and low. Lupine will close the door behind her. There're multiple shower stalls in here, but not a tub, and it's very clearly utilitarian, however nice in its construction. ] [ He grins at her, bright. ]

Do you wanna get a drink now, or after we've rinsed off, or — during?

[ She tugs her corset laces open and starts working them loose. ] Shirt off, at least. I don't want any more whining about smells when we get back.

[ He'd best be quick about it, since as soon as her laces have enough give to get the front busk of her corset open she unfastens and removes it entirely, then approaches him with her flaring eyes locked on his neck. Now, it is. (And later, perhaps, but before all the flowery scents happen.) ]

[ His eyes brighten in response, but he's quick to shed his own top; working on the front of his pants, when she starts eyeing his neck. ]
