Cardinal Chases Dawn: The second meeting of the support group for Current or Former Assassins and Hunters will be held at the Olive Garden 6pm this evening. Alcohol will be provided on the house.
Cardinal Chases Dawn: New attendees welcome, guest stars included. If you suspect you fit that description but don't remember, you can come too.
Cardinal Chases Dawn: You don't have to talk about your feelings or whatever so you can chill out. We're just going to drink and see who's best at throwing knives.
Cardinal Chases Dawn: Or rather, who's second best after me.

THE OLIVE GARDEN

And yet...and yet! In a far corner of the yard, in the center of a hexagon of adult olive trees, a steel hatch can be found acting as a lonesome sentinel of a long-lost treasure. Emblazoned on its heavy metal frame are the half-worn words "FOR OUR QUEEN" followed by one image: 🐇. Word on the street is that supplicating yourself to the family of olives by bowing and presenting a payment of 200 points followed by knocking three times on the hatch will grant entry into a secret world: one forbidden by the law, and ever more popular for its illegality. This is the grandiose warm brick dining hall, its earth-toned tiled flooring dimly lit by the fiercely roaring digital fireplaces. A salad bar sits right in its middle, and in that salad bar is the holy grail of diners: the coveted endless supply of garlicky, buttery breadsticks. Truly, this is the true face of the Olive Garden - a speakeasy hidden away from those who would take from the people their rightful prize!

Someone propped open the hatch, so you can ignore the 200 point fee. 

Against one of the wall someone has set up a couple of "dart" boards. One of them has a standard dart board layout; the other is much larger, big enough for, say, a full-grown human to stand up against while someone throws knives at them. If anyone is in to that. There is a set of throwing knives nearby.

Booze is being provided courtesy of Loaded Pistol of BARiTONES. If anyone wants to start up a drinking game, have at it. There is no formal agenda for this "meeting", it's just a meet and greet.

There are stacks of question cards lying around.

[Cardinal is shuffling through a deck of the question cards looking increasingly amused.]

I forgot so many of these were so blunt.

[Vergil's come very reluctantly, but if Cardinal, Five, maybe family are...okay. He can give it a shot.]

[Cardinal looks pleased to see him. They look down at the cards.]

"Would you like to be part of a threesome?"

................What? No, what kind of question is that?

[They laugh and hand the stack over to him so he can flip through them.]

Strong reaction. A lot of them are like that, I just grabbed them last minute so I wasn't paying attention.

[He does flip through, Do you know how to give a massage?, What's your favorite thing to do in bed?, Have you ever had voyeuristic fantasies?.... Wow look they keep getting worse and he hates it! He's definitely getting a bit red and almost shoves them back but -

Have you ever killed anyone? oh okay. He laughs.]

That one should likely be more along the lines of "how many"...

Hello. So are you a hunter, or an assasain?

I don't remember enough to tell yet, but I do know that money was always important to earn, and that I've surely killed many people.

Have you taken more memories since we last spoke? Learn anything new?

Yes. There were some men who were stranded in the snow, so I helped them out... but they turned out to be slave traders, so I had to kill them in the end. There was also a country I visited that was rumored to be the new home of an infamous serial killer, but I was mostly interested in seeing a place where there was no law against murder.

[ pours a glass of water into stem ware, then runs her finger along the rim as red blooms through the contents ]

I'm not picky. It's not for the pleasure of my palate.

If that's the case, why not something harder?

I'm surprised no one is yelling about that "second best" comment yet.

[Glory has a pearl-handled switchblade in her hand, which she is flipping open and closed absently as she looks around]

I was hoping someone would, but oh well. When did you get that? [they nod to the knife.]

...It was a Christmas present from Nero. I don't use it for fighting, so mostly it stays in my collection, but... Mm, it's comforting to have.

Hah. He got me something, too. "Find Something Nice to Say - The power of compliments". I told him I was trying to be nicer.
