[ Visibly bristling. But he's getting some tea and placing it down in front of whoever is in the common room now that he's all cleaned up, including Wednesday who came home with him. ]
We did everything right, this time, too! I don't think we could have played a more perfect game!
[ They managed to win but not before eating it again again again. ]

Hiryuu: Are you all right?

Leviathan: I am. We won the game, and so were fully healed by the end of it. I am merely frustrated.
Leviathan: I am immensely relieved that you were not there, Master.
[ HSS got... hit very hard. ]

Hiryuu: Do you know where Hurricane and Dva are?
Hiryuu: Northstar and Adora came home, but I haven't seen the other two at all. I'm worried.

Hiryuu: I hate to ask you but is there anyway you could come help Northstar?
Hiryuu: She's missing an arm...

Leviathan: I need to repurchase all of my abilities.

Hiryuu: But I suppose in a certain light our abilities are a certain form of corruption, aren't they?
Hiryuu: Do you need points to cover the purchases?

[She's gotten all cleaned up too, and her bloodied clothes are in the wash; she's not at all sure that she should be asking this, but maybe talking it through will help a little?]
I-I mean, you don't have to. But if it would help...
no subject
[ Assuring her. He doesn't mind talking to her of course. He heaves a small sigh. ]
But I am not sure that there is much to say. We tried to avoid battle and decided to become medics that would treat anyone, regardless of where they stood in the war.
We were attacked a few times but did relatively well until the last round when we were attacked by multiple sides. I'm not sure that we could have done something differently.

[She tucks her legs beneath her, smooths her skirt. Leans a little closer to him.]
Games like that one... there's just so much you can't even begin to control for, isn't there? Everyone sort of... makes it up as they go along, and there's no way to tell how that's going to affect the rest of us. How can we? At least in most games, oh... everyone's trying to push a button, or there's things to give out or hang onto, and we can sort of guess how that might go. But we don't even know if people are being miners or opera singers or - or space pirates, or anything. How are we supposed to know what's best, then?

Mmm. [ He adjusts a little to wrap an arm around her. ]
I guess amid even that, we can still count on some people to reach out a hand in kindness.
[ Like Pep, and Heart Soldier. ]
I heard that you had decided to work toward being an idol for the game.

Which means he's marching into the bathroom and getting the water as cold as it goes and sticking his head under the faucet, to run it over his eyes. Best way to reduce redness and puffiness. ]

Veles. I am making tea. Would you like something warm?
no subject
Ugh. No thanks. Do we have ice?
no subject
We have a-- [ . . . ] a thing that creates ice. But it can be alarming to use sometimes. I can go get you some.
no subject
Excuse me? What do you mean, alarming? What the hell's alarming about an ice maker?
[ Actually, this is a good, petty distraction he can bitch about. What on earth is wrong with their ice maker? ]
no subject
Sometimes the ice comes out as frozen blood instead of water. It's sort of a nuisance.

[ And then it was a horror show. ]
It magically cleans itself after. And perhaps... it was good for our maybe-- [ Uh... he doesn't know the name well. ] Vampire...?
[ All he knows is that there are some people who apparently feed on blood. Sekhmet did, but she never said specifically that was...what she was.]
It doesn't happen all of the time. Just sometimes...

Once I have the points, I'm getting us a new kitchen.

[ He didn't know what specifics to ask for he is ancient. ]
Oh-- and a nice place to eat with everyone.
[ At least he did request that bit. The breakfast nook is the only nice part of it. ]
