[ After a long, long, long night, you wake in the dead zone, having slept more deeply than you've ever slept before.

Perhaps more restfully than you've ever slept before, even—do you remember your dreams? Is it all coming back to you, now?

For certain dreamers, the flower markings have disappeared, though if you wake early enough you can catch them glowing bright before burning away painlessly. With that, it feels as though maybe a weight's been lifted off your shoulders—maybe you really needed that sleep.

For certain dreamers, you may find yourself waking up with something new—was that always in your hands? Where did you get that from? Do you remember?

And, for a certain few unlucky dreamers, you may find yourself waking with pain, wounds or scars that remind you that what happened last night was not entirely a dream.

But then, who could ever believe it was a dream anyway?

The sun shines bright; Heaven's chain shines brighter. In the distance, white clouds roll toward the city, threatening rain.

That from Jason's? His is the only one I seem to have injuries from.

I got hit by a crowbar from out of nowhere, I'm pretty sure the heart was cheating.

...actually, no, definitely cheating because it made it real hard for me to calm Arya down. Should have been nothing to subdue her.

[Also just going to efficiently take care of this injury for a patch job until SiVs are stable enough to bother.]

I...really only know what I've been told about him, but it sounds as though you got lucky if that was the worst of it. He's someone that even my father has yet to beat, as I understand it.

Arya got hit by some kind of gas that made her laugh uncontrollably and try to murder me.

Bastard messed with our sacred rivalry. [Because! Its actually important! Thank you very much!] Neutralized her aggression so she'd stop, but it took a few false starts. Then we fell down a hole, appeared in a green lake. Met your not mom.

It was all very weird.

I mean, the gas happened in the pit room. [What is a lazarous pit.]

There was definitely messing with my emotions going on for a lot of things, but most of the feelings were so foreign, it got pretty easy to like just....distance myself from them? And most of my feelings. Usually only do that if I have to make a hard choice, but like, I knew I needed to start doing it before I went crazy.

[What are destruction feelings, sound fake, felt real fake.]

They were quite familiar to me... It became too hard for me to separate them from my own after I encountered the pit. That's why I fired my crossbow.

That is probably better, yeah. And she didn't seem like an overtly negative part, whatever she was doing. Maybe like...guidance for all the crazy feelings? She's at least got focus.

Though really, if Jason has any idea of her capabilities, she better have been able to handle a bolt of that caliber. If you're gonna be psychotic in training, put your gold where your mouth is.

It was in Jason's heart, so she...isn't cruel there. ...She trained him. Much more kindly than she ever did with me, apparently.

He knows how she treated me, but I suppose just hearing about it isn't stronger than his own memories of her.

Yyyyyeah, that is a hard thing to accept. Just thinking someone with that much destruction feels would probably be appealing to someone who wants to guide that kind of chaos.
