[ After a long, long, long night, you wake in the dead zone, having slept more deeply than you've ever slept before.

Perhaps more restfully than you've ever slept before, even—do you remember your dreams? Is it all coming back to you, now?

For certain dreamers, the flower markings have disappeared, though if you wake early enough you can catch them glowing bright before burning away painlessly. With that, it feels as though maybe a weight's been lifted off your shoulders—maybe you really needed that sleep.

For certain dreamers, you may find yourself waking up with something new—was that always in your hands? Where did you get that from? Do you remember?

And, for a certain few unlucky dreamers, you may find yourself waking with pain, wounds or scars that remind you that what happened last night was not entirely a dream.

But then, who could ever believe it was a dream anyway?

The sun shines bright; Heaven's chain shines brighter. In the distance, white clouds roll toward the city, threatening rain.

A little. Though I think the significance of how comfortable I am with you wearing it outweighs it. I can think of no one better. And truthfully, I rarely wear it.

Strange that I am comfortable wearing it. But I would rather only be seen by you in it in general, if at all.

[He squeezes his hand and heads to BARiTONES with him. He'll usher him into the bathroom to shower and change and become comfortable.]

I so believe the tradition is kale smoothies. But after.

Do you think you will get more to actually consume them? And shall I wait here for you to hand them out?

I will simply leave them up to others to consume as they wish, it shouldn't take me long to make them.

[He waves him off.]

[He snorts at him and gets comfortable on a couch just waving his hand in that way he does. He'll still be awake though when he gets back.]

[He will return after making so many smoothies, joining him on the couch.]

Now I am free officially from obligation.

[He pulls him into his lap arms around his waist.]

And you are well? No lingering doubts from what happened?

[He adjusts to straddling his lap, draping his arms around him.]

Hypothetical question. Should I find myself in your soul, would you like me to be meddlesome or simply keep you company?

That is hard to say. For any but you I would keep them out by preference. For you, I simply believe you might not enjoy digging so deeply, as I've seen in other's hearts. But I would not have you think any part of my soul is locked to you.

And if it is a case of those flowers stealing memories from me, I would rather you fix the issue, naturally.

An infestation would be dealt with without question. But your privacy is your own. How and wish to tell me things that trouble you on your own time.

Though do rest assured I would never try to change you.

From you that was never even a worry. The only hesitation is in my concern for you. Should my heart make one relive our past, it would be needless torment.

I have no actual concern for you roaming within my psyche and soul. Anything you would see fit to do, I would trust you to.

And what of you? What is your preference in this scenario?

[He simply shrugs at that.]

It is better to relive it than forget anyway.

[He taps his chin.]

Truthfully, I'd like you to make yourself comfortable. Whatever gave you the greatest joy. You would deserve the break.

But he waves a hand, then tangles it in Hades's hair.]

You know how inquisitive I am. Nosy to a true fault. I would poke and prod everything--yet with you I would respect it if you told me not to.

I would no more change you than you me, but I am capable of both being insatiable in my curiosity and setting it aside, if you would have me do so. I would simply know your preference.

[He shrugs unconcerned with the first bit.]

As you would hide nothing from me, nor would I hide from you. It might even give you information I would not be able to put into words. The ideal illusion did give us that. So pry and snoop and be entertained as much as you wish.
