[ After a long, long, long night, you wake in the dead zone, having slept more deeply than you've ever slept before.

Perhaps more restfully than you've ever slept before, even—do you remember your dreams? Is it all coming back to you, now?

For certain dreamers, the flower markings have disappeared, though if you wake early enough you can catch them glowing bright before burning away painlessly. With that, it feels as though maybe a weight's been lifted off your shoulders—maybe you really needed that sleep.

For certain dreamers, you may find yourself waking up with something new—was that always in your hands? Where did you get that from? Do you remember?

And, for a certain few unlucky dreamers, you may find yourself waking with pain, wounds or scars that remind you that what happened last night was not entirely a dream.

But then, who could ever believe it was a dream anyway?

The sun shines bright; Heaven's chain shines brighter. In the distance, white clouds roll toward the city, threatening rain.

He cut his hand open and essentially dared me to taste it. I'm quite sure.

[Which you know, means he just licked Absinthe's hand which is definitely an extremely nonsexual thing to do.]

[He pouts a bit, but swipes his tongue across Lahabrea's palm.]

[He does shiver lightly, brushing his thumb over Vergil's lower lip.]

Just like that? How utilitarian.

[He reaches to take Vergil's hand and lift it from the water.]

Well yes. What else do you expect?

[...He is maybe blushing preemptively over whatever Lahabrea means to do.]

[He traces his fingernail lightly over Vergil's palm and brings it to his lips, kissing it without looking away from Vergil, slipping his tongue from his lips to lightly swipe over the skin.]

[Ah, yes, there it is, somehow that still catches him off guard even though he knew something was coming. His wings splash the water as they stretch a bit, blushing deeper.]

If that's what you are imagining it would be quite intimate. However.

[He slips his fingers between Vergil's to spread them, moving Vergil's hand so he can kiss his fingertips, nipping lightly at his index finger.]

However it was not how you did it. Yes I understand. But if someone is holding their hand to your mouth I wonder if this is not more of what they expect?

[Redder by the second. He nearly pulls his hand away but can't actually bring himself to.]

....If they are dealing with someone other than myself, perhaps.

[Maybe he just. Really liked that reaction with the wings. He parts his lips and sucks lightly on the tip of a finger, using his teeth and tongue on the pad of it before pulling it from between his lips slowly.]

Hm. Well I do think Absinthe has a good idea what to expect of you yes. That does not mean he wasn't flirting anyway.

[He brushes his lips over the side of that finger, licking lightly as if he were lapping up blood.]

[Well that certainly earns more involuntary wing ruffling. A bit like a cat's tail vibration. Because he's still a cat. It catches his breath and he can't tear his eyes away because it is very exciting... He just mumbles.]

[He just smiles a little and leans in to kiss Vergil softly, not letting go of his hand.]

Well then, perhaps he didn't know what to expect. But he is rather perceptive. Either way... I imagine that would have been even more intimate with your blood, for you.

[He huffs, but reaches for the back of Lahabrea's neck to keep him there longer.]




...Well he tasted that too. To compare twins. [For science.] But I have no such attachment to mine.

[Well he doesn't mind being kept, even licking Vergil's lips lightly, a teasing echo of licking his fingers.]

Mmhm? Well I don't really enjoy blood myself. But licking you is an entirely different matter.

[Every moment he just continues to die. It seemed like he might start to be given room to breathe?? And yet he is not.]

Why not? I live here more than my own rooms. And I've said before Hades is a voyeur, he might enjoy it.

[Teasing aside he kisses Vergil more firmly and squeezes his fingers.]

Though that would be counter to cleaning you I admit.

[He laughs and wraps an arm around Vergil to pull him flush for another brief but far more filthy kiss before he lets him go]
