[ After a long, long, long night, you wake in the dead zone, having slept more deeply than you've ever slept before.

Perhaps more restfully than you've ever slept before, even—do you remember your dreams? Is it all coming back to you, now?

For certain dreamers, the flower markings have disappeared, though if you wake early enough you can catch them glowing bright before burning away painlessly. With that, it feels as though maybe a weight's been lifted off your shoulders—maybe you really needed that sleep.

For certain dreamers, you may find yourself waking up with something new—was that always in your hands? Where did you get that from? Do you remember?

And, for a certain few unlucky dreamers, you may find yourself waking with pain, wounds or scars that remind you that what happened last night was not entirely a dream.

But then, who could ever believe it was a dream anyway?

The sun shines bright; Heaven's chain shines brighter. In the distance, white clouds roll toward the city, threatening rain.

[he goes along with the carrying, but--]

What do you mean? If it's something extravagant, I'm not sure my heart can take it at the moment...

[ sets him down on hydra's back and it's off to the hotel. ] No. It's nothing insane... though, I have been meaning to ask you about something... I'll save that for later though. [ boops his nose, taking out her phone on the ride over and doing a little something. ]

[ it doesn't take too long to get to the hotel and then she hops off hydra and offers raven a hand on the way to the elevator. ]

[ one ride up to hss, plz! ]

[raven enjoys the ride, leaning on dva so he doesn't get dizzy]

[ as soon as they reach hss she opens the door using her phone and leads him inside, finding him a seat before going over to the drop box to pick up something. keeps it behind her back so it's a surprise! ]

[he closes his eyes]

[ she plops a small black kitten into his lap. ] Open!

I found a chest of cats in your heart, and I brought one to the you in the library and to the little you outside... to keep you company. I think it’s only fair that this you gets one too. And you already have a bird, and while he’s not nearly as mouthy as your familiar, this little kitty probably won’t be nearly as stabby as your other precious kitty cat.

[ the kitten baps at raven's face. hello there. ]

Good. [ chuckles. ] I know you'll love him. [ or her. whichever you're feeling, christi. ]

[lifts the kitten up and looks it in the face]

What shall I call you, little one? I expect you to get along with Victor and Phoebe, or else there will be consequences.

[he says in a pseudo-serious tone, but he's smiling]

Oh, Sabre's going to hate this... well, hopefully she can establish her dominance easily.

[ she takes a seat alongside him and smiles. the kitten stares at him intently, as if listening to the 'warning' he's issuing. ]

I'm sure she'll have no problem with that. So [ leans into him, giving his cheek a kiss. ] what sort of name do you think will fit this cutie?

Good question. What kind of personality does he have, I wonder...? We'll see, and then I can think of a good name.
