[ After a long, long, long night, you wake in the dead zone, having slept more deeply than you've ever slept before.

Perhaps more restfully than you've ever slept before, even—do you remember your dreams? Is it all coming back to you, now?

For certain dreamers, the flower markings have disappeared, though if you wake early enough you can catch them glowing bright before burning away painlessly. With that, it feels as though maybe a weight's been lifted off your shoulders—maybe you really needed that sleep.

For certain dreamers, you may find yourself waking up with something new—was that always in your hands? Where did you get that from? Do you remember?

And, for a certain few unlucky dreamers, you may find yourself waking with pain, wounds or scars that remind you that what happened last night was not entirely a dream.

But then, who could ever believe it was a dream anyway?

The sun shines bright; Heaven's chain shines brighter. In the distance, white clouds roll toward the city, threatening rain.

Please note: Characters may not fully remember their romps in other characters' hearts immediately. This is so that if you're still backthreading hearts, you can have your character not remember what happened or otherwise not be affected by the changes in the run until later.

...yeah, if there was anything there it's gone now. Soooo you got weird flower tattoos from Heaven and then people messed around in your heart and they went away. WTF.

I... don't know. I think Hell might be influencing Heaven to a degree. Like, remember that flowers game... this was a little too similar to that...

But I legit don't know. It's all real weird.

After seeing the real thing, the game version felt a little like... some kind of copy. Like maybe they were just trying to make an imitation to see how close they could get.

I should try testing out some stuff... [Mmmmnn.] Later, though.

I mean, if we're going to, like, analyze all the things, then it sorta seemed like an, ah, combination of things. It's not like this is the first time we've been able to wander around people's subconscious or whatever, but it IS the first time the flowers were involved, and that only happened after that flowers game.

[ quirks a brow. ] What were you thinking? Maybe I can help when you're ready.

...I grabbed an apple from the garden during the Flower game, and I grabbed another one from up the chain. Neither seem to have rotted at all, so I'm curious if they're the same if you take a bite. If one's just an imitation, it would taste different, wouldn't it?

[ she considers this a minute. ] It might, but, like, depending on how good an imitation it is you might not be able to tell. If you think about certain foods there are imitation versions and junk, and some people can barely tell the difference because of their palates.

True, but there's other properties of the Heavenly fruit that it might not quite mimic.

...oh, [ quirks her head and taps her lips. ] I guess that's true too. Only one way to find out, like you said.

Maybe we can give it a shot later? If anything weird happened, I don't know if I'd be able to react quickly like this.

I'm down. And, yeah, it might be good if I take a little bit of a break, since I had just been in the dead zone for, well, god only knows how long.

[ nods. ] Yeah... because of all of my corruptions...
