[ Good evening, Imeeji! I hope you weren’t hoping for a peaceful and quiet night. Because there are noise crimes in effect and they’re not stopping any time soon.

The “stage” is just inside the parking garage of the hotel. It’s already been “decorated” accordingly by the performers-- There’s speakers, microphones, and velvet “curtains” have been hung along the edges of the open door to frame the center of attention-- namely, the musicians taking their places. Spotlights have been arranged on nearby rooftops to illuminate the band.

[ d.va is a literal fucken diva tonight, sitting behind a bitching set of pink drums with some sort of snake rabbit *thing* painted on the front. behind her, there’s an obnoxious assortment of fireworks, and it looks like the fuse miiiight just be connected to the bass pedal… ]

Hey out there-! I hope you’re ready for a good fucken time, because my friends and I are here to put on one hell [ wink. ] of a show! [ KABOOM, and the first of many fireworks goes off~ ]

[ Ordine is on bass guitar, hair swept out of his eyes by one of those bandanas he often wears as a headband. He’s got a leather getup on tonight, and after d.VA speaks, he plays a riff and then points out to the crowd. His eyes are sparkling with excitement as he shouts out, his voice carrying clearly through the speakers. ]

That’s right, it’s time for the performance of a lifetime— so you’d better be ready to get hyped! Because we’re “Leather and Lace” and we’re gonna rock your world!

[ His proclamation is punctuated by a blast of fireworks going off behind them, perfectly timed. ]

[Lily is here with a purple and black electric guitar, her make up much more dramatic than usual. She shreds her guitar before the fireworks go off, a siren to herald their arrival, cheering vivaciously and cackling as they pop. Oh, she is already having the time of her life.]

[ Serenity stands center stage with nothing but a hand-held microphone. Compared to the others she looks a bit timid to start-- although some part of that may be the outfit that she’s been fitted with. But once things get started, she finds her confidence. ]

We have a few songs to sing for you, but don’t be shy. Make some noise of your own!

[He slides onto the seat - hesitates - starts to play]

[He's... not bad, actually. Certainly better than he seems to think. He's been practicing an hour or two every day for nine months, by now]

[ from what he was saying she was sort of expecting bad, but she’s glad she kept an open mind and kind of figured he was just kicking himself while he was down... something he tends to do. ]

...wow. [ you’re really good, hurricane!!! ]

[Falters to a stop, glancing her way to see if that was a good wow or a bad wow,]

Oh, man, going for the classics, huh?

[ nods, moving from her seat to move a little closer to the piano. ] I think they'll appreciate that kinda stuff and, like, I can always jam out on my drums.

Yeah... that makes sense.

What's the first thing you're gonna learn, you think?

...not sure. I should start looking at sheet music, huh? though... might be a good idea to just, like, focus on the easy stuff first. I don't want to make this too hard on myself... yet.

Oh. Uh...

Sorry, dude. I dunno how to read sheet music. I just been copying them follow-the-keys videos on Helltube till I get by heart.

[ blinks. ] I coulda just done that! It took me ages to learn sheet music! [ smushes her hands into her face and groans. ]

Yeah, but at least you know now.

Mm, that's true. Anyway, I guess I'll have to look at some intricate stuff, but in the meantime lemme show you what I already know!
