[Glory spends a good number of minutes frowning at her phone in the lobby, looking pensive, but at length she hits the button to buy several memories in sequence.

The first involves a student council and a transfer student, or maybe a cult and a resurrection ritual? The latter description may be more accurate. This memory also refers to being trapped in a killing game and getting back memories of outside the game. Memoryception. Also C is there, needling Glory about being an assassin.

The second is a "retrial" that incidentally implies that resurrection ritual plan didn't succeed. It also has some fun implications of people having their memories wiped and then being placed in killing games repeatedly, and some comments about not trusting yourself.

The third is a bit of a... palette cleanser? Or a sign the memory roulette is done giving her useful things. All she really learns from this one is men wearing women's underwear can come up in many situations.

She... takes a while to process all of that.]

[Sniper encounters a fellow youth ranting about the looming possibility of the war and whether humankind has really evolved beyond conflict. Sniper makes a speech of their own, declaring "I'm capable of making war." At the end of the memory Sniper appears to recruit the gobsmacked youth, Tully.

Cardinal watches it unfold without much reaction, only meditative blankness.]

[ Clearly he's waited enough time to consider himself recovered from seeing all his family die a third time and himself getting shot, so. It's time for more memories.

As usual, he's sitting in the lobby, and he's going to play 3.

The first one is one with both Lila and The Handler in it - clearly the aftermath of a fight, and with The Handler proposing a deal to him. One he knows he has accepted later down the line, given that he remembers killing the board of directors.

The second one is a moment of bonding with Diego, where he explains he'd been hearing their father's voice every day while stuck in the apocalypse and he hesitates at the thought of meeting him again.

The third one does feature Reginald, and it's a shitshow of a dinner with all his siblings gathered there. It goes about as well as any meeting with Reginald is bound to go.

After the memory he's just going to get up and get himself a glass of water ]

[ Sho's taken to taking his memory in his favorite semi-less-foot-traffic-area, the cafe. As per custom, he's seated at a counter eating a parfait when his memory starts to play. As per not custom, the memory itself depicts a very not middle-school appropriate kidnapping of his girlfriend, his failure to save her, a lecture from the guy who did end up saving her, and Sho distancing from her to try and live a normal high school life. ]

[Persephone had a reasonably okay day today, went walking in the greenhouse and went to the library. so on his way back, probably briefly perched outside, will take a memory.. an extremely bad memory.

[Angel is sitting with one of the baby sheep, watching a memory play by. It involves her talking to a girl stuck in an orb. It seems the girl was left behind by her parents and was lonely, and Angel chatted with her about it.

"Family is different. You don't have to believe in your family because you're just part of their bloodline. It'd be nice if they could be your friends, but it's not always a guarantee."

"Well loneliness and people leaving you alone are two different things. You can have friends and still feel lonely. But if you're left alone, it is because you are either a miserable person to be around or they are miserable people who can't be happy with anything."

And she has another memory with Clima. It's a little weird with Clima saying things like "You're a weak little girl, but you have to do your best to become the best idol you can. We're supporting you, alright?" but it seems...supportive? But it talks a little about titles, too, and how no title seems to fit Angel proper. Perhaps it is because it isn't a name given to her by family...?

Angel just sighs.]

[In the first memory, Hurricane and Nemesis are set to scope out a cult in a church in post-apocalyptic Kyoto to get back a downed teammate, as you do.]

[In the second, a much younger Hurricane, circa age nine, burned his mother's birthday cake and she is Extremely Unimpressed.]

[In the third, emergency sirens go off in the dark hours of the morning and a ten-year-old Hurricane struggles to get his mother out of the apartment and to cover. She has been drinking too much to be any help.]

[When all that's done, Hurricane can be found in the downstairs kitchen, stirring up a batch of chocolate fudge on the stovetop]

[Alright, it's that time again. She hasn't had anything traumatic fairly recently, which, really only makes her more anxious. When is the other shoe going to drop?

The first is...cute. The twins are cuddling together and Beta (Lily) brings up the subject of naming weapons...also "making" them? Hm.

The second involves them being patently, visibly inhuman and downloading what appears to be combat data.]

Honestly! Naming weapons is just badassed!

Still, they are on a mission, and they'll purchase two public memories.

The first involves them showing off some excellent skill with three different firearms, practically performing for a crowd.

The second involves a visit to a country insistent that the world will end during their three day stop there, but hey, at least they get a hotel room for free?

There's also a talking motorcycle in both of these. No one seems to bat an eye at this.]

it might be even more surprising that it involves him winning a fight against a giant monster. it's not an impressive victory by any means because it takes really long and he mostly just reflects damage back at her, but. still.]

[ So Eclipse is taking memories at the cafe again, both because he expects there to be less people to see and also because, well, if it turns out to be a bad memory then at least he can get tea.

The memory he gets is a lot more than he bargained for. Sometimes you end up talking to a 1500+ year old ghost who happens to have the same name as the one on your profile, and she tells you what actually happened on the day she died.

Unlike in the memory, Eclipse isn't really upset as he watches this, but that's more because he seems to be mentally in space now.

He's so distracted that he accidentally buys a second memory, where he's having a private conversation with the same ghost. She explains several things to him (something about reincarnation, sorta kinda?) It's a surprisingly uplifting yet also terrifying conversation.

By the time that memory is over, Eclipse is just. Putting his face down on the table he's sitting at.

He's done, he's tired, this was A Lot. ]
