Chocobo mingle
Who: anyone
Where: vid room
When: Day 295
Hey, Imeeji shut ins, wanna do outdoor activities while still being indoors? This is your chance!
How’s that? Did I sell it?
[Glacies gently interjects]
I have come to enjoy learning about all of your own wonderful, unique homes, however we often do not have the chance to experience them outside of memories. With the hope that others will be inspired to do the same, we would like to share a small portion of ours with you all today. Please, visit the video room in order to learn about chocobos, a charming animal with deep cultural significance for Eos.
Which is all to say: chocobo races in the vid room, and you’re invited!
[The inside of the vid room looks a bit like a ranch today, with a large wooden stable next to a green, grassy paddock. Instead of horses, the paddock is full of large birds in a whole rainbow of colors, all saddled up and ready to ride. Large, fat chicks wander around underfoot, picking at bugs and stray bits of grains.
Near the stables is the start of a dirt racetrack / obstacle course that loops around the ranch, zig-zagging through trees and grassy meadows.]
[ This is a mingle! Come hang out, or challenge someone to a race. ]
[ Demonstrate a unit trait for 150 points. ]

Racing instructions
SUGGESTED RACING RULES
The racetrack is 15 units long.
On your turn, roll 1d6 to determine how many units your chocobo covers. The first person to reach 15 wins.
Once per race, you can spur your chocobo into a sprint, where it will temporarily zoom forward at high speed. To spur your chocobo, roll 2d4+3 instead of your normal roll. However, after your chocobo sprints it will be tired, so on your next turn, you may only roll 1d2. Use it wisely!
Feel free to imagine whatever obstacles you want — for example: sharp turns, hurdles, rocks, pools of water, etc. All chocobos can jump, glide, and swim, but all of them are physically equal, regardless of color.

Hey-!! I'll pet you too. [Laughing and reaching out to pet the both of them.]
This was a fun idea.

Yeah, I told ya, they get big.
You wanna race? Or feed the chicks?

You don't have to be that gentle. They like their scratches.

[ HE HAS BEEN COMPROMISED. ]
You're all so small. [ leans down and noses one, accidentally knocking it over. ] ... [ FEELSBADMAN. ]
no subject
... Don't worry about it, they're still tough even at that size.
[as evidenced by knocked over chick getting up and trying to perch again]

For mingle purposes she is looking around at the ranch like it's totally foreign to her. Especially the chocobos, but really the whole situation.]
