They're... strange. They-- killed Sabre multiple times in the Hotel. Then I... I, uh. I killed them. And told them to stay away from Sabre and Kohime. That... That might be what they're talking about.

[ everything else forgotten for a moment, she surges forward into Adora's personal space. ]

Sabre was talking about being killed again and again. Was that--

Mostly them?

Yeah. Probably. I wasn't... I wasn't there every time. Sabre was fine the first time I saw her, but by the next time, she was completely possessed.

The way they talked, I thought you all were friends. Is that all they've done?

They... might have been possessed too. But still...

Sorry, that whole game was a mess. I'm not sure the right way to handle anything coming out of it.

And Kohime and Sabre killed each other during it too-- lots of people just... completely lost their minds.

Okay, I'm going to get the second memory now. That other one wasn't bad, so...maybe this one won't be either?

[ but it is. it completely is. and by the end of it, Adora is doubled over on the bed, shaking and fighting between tears and hyperventilating. ]

adora pauses for one brief second, and then moves forward without thinking about it to hug the other adora.

[ the words come to her without thought as she freezes in Adora's arms. ]

[maybe. maybe that was the case and yet.]

[adora doesn't like her but at the same time, she gets it. and then she pauses.]

I. I'm hugging you.

[ it's not that she doesn't know what hugging is. but physical affection has always been limited. even with catra, the little bit she's managed to remember, was a rough and tumble affection or just leaning into each other. never a full out hug. never something so blatant and visible.

I, um. I don't know...what to do. Honestly. I don't think anyone's ever...hugged me?

[there are a lot of questions, and she pauses, mid hug.]

... Is it weird I don't feel like that's true, somehow...?

[ after a beat of hesitation, Adora returns the embrace, stiff and trembling. ]

[she finally eases off the hug, and pulls at her overall strap, thoughtful.]

I have one where Catra and I ran into her room to play and it was... really awful too.

I guess that's why we banished her. Is it bad that I...wasn't all that conflicted? I was almost relieved.

[she's awkward as she says it, halting while she works through at a rapid clip: shadow weaver is awful.]

I... Feel like she hurt us. Me, you, Sabre, Kohime. Maybe... Maybe that was the only option.
