Heaven and Hell - I suspect this means something rather different from my own understanding, particularly given the story at the end. Which "God" is this, for example.

Muerte would be the best person to ask about that. As far as I know, she's the only one who understood Exael's references.

Another point to Muerte. Exael told her we are neither dead nor dreaming. So take that with a grain of salt.

My impression of Exael is that she isn't reliable. I assume she was acting rather as someone else's mouthpiece for a good portion of this, which is at least a guarantee for something of her words, but I'd be relieved if there were any measures in place to track her honesty. Who else met with her, exactly?

If you have suggestions on how we can track someone's honesty outside of sending in our best people-persons, I'm all ears.

Myself, A, B, C, Muerte, Okami, and Nine-Nine -- which wasn't according to plan. It seems they took the people who donated the most to the cause regardless of who we wanted to send.

I'd certainly recommend that as well, but Bad End has a relevant skill available to them, don't they?

Sensing disagreement is not the same as lying though. We'd have more luck trying to get them to drink AlcheME!'s truth serum.

That could be worth pursuing as well, but even setting aside the trouble of getting it down one of their throats, it's of no use to us during a phone call. Sensing disagreement is certainly a step down from enforced honesty, but knowing even a portion of her feelings behind her words with certainty is better than nothing.

Though of course, that's only if our abilities hold any effectiveness against them at all.

... Azrael has something similar which can be applied more generally, and Heart also has charm to consider. But I'm uncertain as to the limitations, for any of them. Test it first, I suppose.
