[ You may have received a text notification of a graduation...or maybe two, depending. Alternately you may have just seen the ridiculous set-up near the cafe. A set of tables have appeared in between the building's entrance and a ridiculously large fountain, which offers a dazzling display of dancing lights. The waterspouts are in time with the jazz playing from speakers at the café's entrance, as well as the café itself. Strung over the tables is a banner which reads "CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR PROMOTION, PALOMA!". For some reason, entering the area with the fountain causes the sky to darken to dusk regardless of the actual time of day, allowing for better viewing of both the light show and also the moon which hangs full in the sky.


Not as much redecorating has been done inside the cafe itself, besides a postboard that reads "WELCOME TO THE MOONLIT KINGDOM MAID CAFÉ". The food is all you would normally expect, aside from the copious amount of alcoholic drinks now served. There is also a stand featured in the center of the dining floor with a sign that says "RUBY💖SOUR BRAND GLITTERING BATHWATER - MOONLIGHT GRADUATION EDITION". The jars of glittery bathwater glow a serene, comforting silver light. Somehow. It's kind of distracting, actually?

Also, for some reason, no matter what you order, you also get a complementary kale smoothie. ]

Paloma has been a valuable asset to our outfit since the day she arrived, coming in with a bright personality and a strong work ethic. These paired well with her ability to infiltrate our ranks and force us to come together, despite BARiTONES' differences. It could not have been an easy thing; we are a difficult group! But Paloma proved herself stubborn enough to stick herself firmly in our lives, and I feel we are all the better for it.

On a more personal note: Paloma was one of the first people to manage to get close to me on this unit in any meaningful way, and her influence has been nothing short of a miracle. I am left a better person and a better leader thanks to Paloma, and I can only hope that I can make her proud as I continue to absorb the lessons she imparted upon me.

So thank you, Paloma! As a member of BARiTONES, and as someone I can only hope can remain a part of your kiima, even if we are no longer part of a unit together. Now go give 'em Hell~
