Who: Intrepid explorers come home
Where: Hotel
When: Day 270
[ Some lucky (or unlucky) few of you have been gone for a couple of days—but finally, you're back, awakening in your own rooms.
Goodness, how long has it been? Surely not that long, right?
You'll find that you're missing anything that you had picked up in either of the Hells, although you do manage to keep your phones. If you were injured at all, you'll find that those injuries are gone, miraculously(?).
But perhaps most startlingly, you won't have any memory of what happened to you except that you fell through the portal, at least upon waking up. As the day goes on you'll find your memories trickling back in, and then you'll have more to explain to your unitmates and loved ones once you gain everything back.
That's weird and totally not something someone did or anything. Probably just a byproduct of going through weird portals. Don't go through weird portals, kids. ]

Do tell me! If it is not too much trouble, of course.

She clears her throat and takes on a Storytelling Voice, gesturing lightly]
It began with the imps, those mischievous urchins, though their antics did annoy, they themselves were not as they seemed and harbingers of greater evil besides...
[a pause]
Prayer nor preparation would delay it; larger, more ferocious demons fewer in number, but greater in threat did appear on the city stage, staining her fair streets with their sin and destruction.
Whispers of fear echoed in the hearts of all...would no one save us? Would the dawn of tomorrow break the horizon?
It would! For heroes brave and true would answer the call! Their arms and intentions gleaming in the wicked gloom. Stalwart bastions of hope, all!
[An aside:]
Or maybe they just didn't wanna see their fave restaurants destroyed, I dunno.
[Back to it.]
And yet even they would find themselves tested. Great beasts from sea and sky did lay calamitous waste, spewing corruption endlessly. Buildings toppled, streets crackled, lights snuffed out, leaving all shrouded in darkness. The sky itself was rent asunder, and wicked, insensible fire burned and burned and burned. And yet its citizens would. Not. Yield.--or they noped out, stayed inside and made caustic commentary--and, in time, they prevailed!

Very illustrative! And poetic, I might add. I consider myself all the more unfortunate as to have missed it.

Thank you thank you, you've been a wonderful audience.
[but really]
Yeah, it got pret~ty bad! I stayed out of the fighting because I can't, but tried to help in other ways. You might have liked staying inside, it was a bit of a party. It's good to see you!
