...It's not just the forgetting. Though, that is kind of hard... you forgot a lot of the things that brought us together in the first place. But more than that, you've been... distant? Even if you forgot things, it's not like we were together that long before. We could make new memories, and keep helping each other out. But instead it's like... well, like you're fine the way things are. Even if there's not much there.

That's... not what I was trying to do.

It's just--it's over, it's done, those things happened, but we're out of it now. I have to remind myself that all the time. That that's real and not... some sort of fantasy I cooked up.

And maybe I'm remembering wrong but... even if there wasn't much there before, I was still fine with how things were--though there's always room to grow. I'm really just not... a difficult person to please. That's all.

Maybe you should be harder to please. Or at least... want more than what you have. I didn't get into this to be your girlfriend who's always there for you. I liked you because we could push each other... open up... be people we couldn't be with others. And figure out exactly who that person was.

...I'm not trying to criticize you, though. I'm worried about you. It is like... you're not quite back to reality.

Because I'm not. I'm trying to be. Really, I really am.

Those things happened... and I know they happened. And I know it's not just ghosts and insanity--they just brought out what ended up being there. Explaining that to others, and have them reconcile that that part of me might even still be there... I haven't figured it out. And I think... I think this sort of thing is how Mukuro became a thing to begin with.
