Eventually a familiar dragon-shaped shadow will appear. ]

[ it's time to see if she can't lose the damn dragon. ]

[ going to duck in and out of a bunch of the abandoned buildings. will that make it harder for him ( and blue-eyes ) ...or do nothing at all? ]

[ Nothing at all, she'll be disappointed to learn. Whenever she ducks into a building, Blue Eyes circles overhead until she appears again, and the chase resumes. ]

[ this is annoying.

[ she has to lose that dragon,
but how... ]

[ she throws her head back to scream at king and blue-eyes, basically telling them to fuck off in monster language as she heads into the next building. ]

[ this time though... she doesn't come out. ]

[Nero's Feint hears the roar... she's gotta be in one of these buildings then, right? From the ground, he tries to look for a way in-- a door, anything. He just has to find her, doesn't matter what else happens.]

And Blue Eyes isn't great at translating.

They continue to circle above as she hides herself in the building -- a robot can never fatigue, after all, and King is used to being patient for the sake of a winning play. ]

At least until the real Griffin gets here, he's gonna try and get as high as he can. He grabs a hold of a nearby window ledge and tries to climb his way up the building, with what parkour skills he has.]

King swears when D.Va leaps for Blue Eyes -- she rears back a bit, wings flapping as she lifts them higher, until King orders them to fly low in case D.Va falls.

Good thing she's not heavy. ]

[ nope! she's light as a feather and dumb as a doornail. ]

[ she digs her claws into blue-eyes as her tentacles snare the dragon to keep her from falling, but she's still not doing the best job, since her back legs are just flailing uselessly. ]

[ IF ONLY SHE COULD GET UP. ]

[ ignores king completely as she tries to reach out and bite him. ]

[ stop. following. her!!! ]

[Cool. Well, the Feint only had one real job here: let Griffin know where D.Va is so he could catch up.

And in the distance, about a block away, you can hear him. In fact, you probably can't do anything except hear him now, because he's shouting at the top of his lungs, with the booming force of Appel:]

D.VAAAA!!!

[Sprinting in mid-air on a path of summoned swords, he's bee-lining for both of them.]

To Griffin: ]

[ And then he's going to reach out to activate Charm again. Surely this can't go wrong. ]

[ surprise, that startles the hell out of her, so while she had been doing her best to hang onto blue-eyes so she could nom king she ends up letting go. shouty man is looking for a fight, right, so she can oblige, and hanging on to the hovering dragon had been a pain in the ass besides. ]

[ but also she didn't think this plan through, so she's just falling straight to the ground... woops. she doesn't seem worried though! for what it's worth... ]

[Finally reaching where Blue Eyes is, Griffin leaps-- summons a ring of long, metal spears above her that fall, stabbing into the ground around D.Va in a ring, like a makeshift cage. Kicks off against a mid-air sword, diving down at her.

Now at closer range, he uses Appel again to paralyze her movements:]
