Exael's voice over the intercom is rarely one that heralds anything good, despite her perky showmanship. She calls out: ]
Ladies and Gentlemen! The sky is alight with stars, and down here under earth, our very own are shining brightly~! Who will outshine the rest, and who will be extinguished?[ That was not actually helpful in terms of explanation. Your phone has rules, though, and those help more than the pit of dread she probably just helpfully installed in your stomach. ]

RULES (brackets are OOC rules but the rest are IC)
How to Play:
Each unit has a Bank of 30 points at the start of gameplay.
Each unit is dealt a Hand of 5 cards.
Each card has a certain number of points on it, as well as a punishment.
Each round you play 1-3 cards to steal points and inflict a punishment on the unit you play it on. If you like, you may also exchange your hand once per turn, for the cost of 3 points.
If you played a card on a unit last round, you may not play a card on that unit again.
If two units play cards on each other in the same round, it cancels out.
Each unit has a private room to confer about their choices in. Idols are physically incapable of talking to other units about their plays until the game is over.
Idols can leave their rooms and go in and out as they like until turn-in.
Turn In:
At the end of the round, all cards will be tallied. Idols will be notified of their current points score, and what punishments they'll be facing.
[ Comment beneath that with your character with the punishment in the header to indicate if you are taking that punishment for your character. Punishments are claimed OOCly.
Please be in OOC contact with your unitmates so you can navigate avoiding your squicks and so you can volunteer to take the punishments you want. ]
After turn-in, the next round will begin, until it is time for endgame. [ Characters do not know how long the game will last. ]
[ Each round lasts two days. ]
Winning, Losing, Healing:
You win if you are one of the units with the most points left at the game end. Winning units will be rewarded with a full heal.
If you end at zero or in debt, you lose. Units that lose the game will have their debts called in, in the future.
Damage will not be repaired, except for the winners.
[ Relationships can be reformed and memories can be regained by buying either thing back from the points shop, for the usual cost of a memory (500 pts). This is not ICly known until the end of the game.
Status effects will begin to wear off at the speed of your choosing three IC days after the game ends. They will wear off faster if characters ICly engage in ways to overcome the induced effect (i.e. facing their phobia, working on methods of anger management, etc).
The status effect CAN remain permanently, in various degrees, if the player wishes it, or it can go away completely fairly quickly. ]
