BETRAYAL AT THE HOUSE ON THE GAME TOWER - Session 11

[ The GAME ALERT and map show on the screen of your phones— idols, you know what to do!

The Game Tower elevator doors are open to receive, and close once they have you in their confines and the broadcast monitors click on. You can keep an eye on the city further and further below you, as watch with your host's introduction to today's game.

At the very least it's not Mukuro's face on the screen this time. Instead it's Exael again, pigtails bouncing as she hops up from a grand low bow— it looks like they cut part of her broadcast spiel for you guys. With a showman's flair, she twirls and splays her arms as the camera zooms out to focus on a grand mansion, more Hollywood glamor than anything belonging in Tokyo.

"Summer has come to Tokyo, and so has the season's specialty: The Trial of Courage! Step right up, and charge right in because waiting won't help you at all! Here is a place even angels fear to tread! Azzy's very own, The House of Mirth and Betrayal! This place has a sordid past that casts a shadow as long as the valley of death, and soon our Idols will be adding their own pages to the tale!"

The elevator stops atop the central tower of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building and then lurches unpleasantly, wrenching itself out of where elevators ought to go. The sudden movement jolts you, and when the doors open you spill out into into a room.

Hopefully, with not too much time missing. ]

[Well he'll pull the knife out of Loki's mangled hand and just, drag the hand up with his other hand and fumble some bondage gear out of his bloody bag to tie his hands together.]

[ with a tone of honey lacing venom, and he doesn't do anything to stop phoenix - just cups dantalion's face, instead ]

Luci-- [ it's almost a plea, but it cuts short. his eyes wide, searching, he doesn't know who to appeal to anymore in this. he thought that maybe Phoenix could be reasoned with, but as his hands are strapped together he quickly realizes that he was a goddamn idiot to even entertain the thought. ]

I... I'm not going to abandon you! It hurts... [ his numerous wounds, almost bearable up til now, are aggravated by Phoenix's desperation. his hands probably the worst of all. or whatever is left of them at this point. ]

[He gentles a little when he has Loki bound, shaking, tucking himself against Loki's chest and trying not to hyperventilate.]

I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I can't... People keep leaving. For years and years and years...

[ hah. relaxing, watching with a spiteful sort of smile ]

Mmm, he's the sort of person to leave. He'll leave now, too.

Years...? [ he questions as Phoenix tucks against his chest,

but then tenses, shooting an alarmed look up at Lucifel. why-!? ]

I won't. I haven't left you! [ is this to Phoenix, or to Lucifel... ]

You will! Everyone does!

[Digging his fingers harshly into Loki's chest.]

Over and over and over and over a hundred, two hundred.

Mm, he will.

[ just smiles! ]

[ you. are. not. helping. lucifel.

he hisses, squirming underneath Phoenix. trying to get some kind of distance. any kind of distance. ]

You're not-- you're not making any damn sense. [ grits, flipping between panicked and aggravated now. ]

[It's fine does he need to make sense when he's getting his fingers around Loki's throat and starting to squeeze?]

[ oh.

considering the next session which definitely has not happened yet, and also many other things, this is sure some kind of fucked up poetic justice.

his mouth opens to gasp for air, without much luck. as his hands try to reach up and grasp for. something. anything, really. Phoenix, Lucifel, it doesn't really matter. panic is racing in his eyes as he struggles to breathe. ]

[Not killing him yet, but sure is cutting off his air to an alarming degree. He can be caught but, well, what will Loki do bound as he is?]

Don't, you can't, please you can't just leave me or betray me, why didn't any of you come for me? All that time!

Are you really going to ask a liar like him that . . . ? Phoenix-san, can you believe anything he says. . . ?

Luci-- [ he tries to shout at him, to tell him to shut up, but weirdly enough talking while being barely able to breathe is difficult.

instead he reaches to claw at Phoenix's hands and wrists. trying to pull him off. though with his hands the way they are it's next to impossible. it's really a fruitless struggle born of panic. and anger. ]

You're both liars, I know that, I know that but--!!

[But his fingernails are gauging into Loki's neck where he's not quite finishing the job of choking him,]

I don't want to be alone!

[ :D ]

[ his throat convulses and contracts under Phoenix's grip and he tries, once again, to claw him loose. he can barely even see him anymore. whether that's because of the oxygen being cut off from his brain, or because of the hot tears pooling in the corners of his eyes. ]

You're just... going to... be alone... again... like this...

[He's sobbing but not letting up, squeezing until the pulse of Loki's life is thready against his fingers, sobbing incoherently that Loki not leave him alone, that Loki is going to betray him.]

[ very pleasantly leaning over, not stopping phoenix but rather moving to whisper to dantalion's ear in a pleasant, soft voice ]

Now, please go right ahead and die under the weight of this "love".

[ ... well if you wanted to make him feel more terrified of love in his last moments you've succeeded lucifel. those are the last words he hears, along with phoenix's desperate sobbing. before the last throws of his body struggling for life stop in an instant and he falls limp. ]

[He's going to cry on Loki's body for a minute before he gets up the angry ghost energy to steal shit so this is cute.]

[ watches for a bit more, and then ]

. . . Now, please get off of him.

[Digging his nails into Loki's dead skin and looking at Lucifel murderously for a moment before, slowly, rolling off of Loki.]

What are you going to do?

[ you wanna go bro ]
