The Game Tower elevator doors are open to receive, and close once they have you in their confines and the broadcast monitors click on. You can keep an eye on the city further and further below you, as watch with your host's introduction to today's game.

At the very least it's not Mukuro's face on the screen this time. Instead it's Exael again, pigtails bouncing as she hops up from a grand low bow— it looks like they cut part of her broadcast spiel for you guys. With a showman's flair, she twirls and splays her arms as the camera zooms out to focus on a grand mansion, more Hollywood glamor than anything belonging in Tokyo.

"Summer has come to Tokyo, and so has the season's specialty: The Trial of Courage! Step right up, and charge right in because waiting won't help you at all! Here is a place even angels fear to tread! Azzy's very own, The House of Mirth and Betrayal! This place has a sordid past that casts a shadow as long as the valley of death, and soon our Idols will be adding their own pages to the tale!"

The elevator stops atop the central tower of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building and then lurches unpleasantly, wrenching itself out of where elevators ought to go. The sudden movement jolts you, and when the doors open you spill out into into a room.

[He's so polite? So don't mind him wrapping a leather strap around his hands and then coming up behind Lucifel to attempt to loop that around his neck and yank him down and against his chest.]

[ as long as he doesn't get his meal choked out of him thanks?? gasping as he's pulled back, a hand moving up to the strap ]

[Tightening his hold with one hand on the strap, kind of keeping it like a collar around Lucifel's neck to yank him around and push him down to the floor on his back.]

[ he doesn't really have a functional right hand so he can really only struggle with his left, the knife in his right hand moving to try cutting at the leather - still, with how focused he is on not breaking his neck lucifel is pretty easy to get on his back, especially if phoenix can throw around 130lbs. he's really not that heavy at all. ]

Phoe - [ wheeze, barely able to eke out anything ] - nixxx . . . -sa . . . . nggg . . . .

[He has a baby face but he has muscle, a lot of it. A lifetime of martial-arts training and years of military training and some active service. Throwing a guy this size around is doable.

He's going to try to grab the hand with the knife once he does, before that becomes more of an issues.]

hm. His grip slackens and he looks up, distrustful but curious and trying to loosen his neck a little more so he can speak ]

[ with a sort of disdain to his voice ]

[same hat same voice not the same look, at least, usually, except when Phoenix has gold eyes and white hair sometimes.

He'll let Lucifel loosen the leather a little, straddling him now to keep him pinned.]

[ i mean lucifel has, gold eyes, and white hair ,,,

looking up to him, watching for a moment before he relaxes ]

[Look I only curse humanity by accident at least]

[He's crying again, tears hitting Lucifel's face.]

[ reaching up with his left hand, then - the one without the knife - to start wiping away his tears ]

Do you hate me? Do you love me?

[Leaning a little... into that comfort...? While crying harder and getting his fingers around Lucifel's neck.]

I d-don't hate you. I don't! I don't...

[ pet ///// gently //// ]

[He wants to screeeam. He's definitely hyperventilating as he starts to squeeze Lucifel's neck.]

[ wow kind of

wheezes out a laugh, content ]

[ and then, ]

I'll. . . keep. . . you . . . compa. . . ny. . .

Shut up! Shut up--but don't, don't leave me. Don't leave me alone, don't, don't!

[So he might be crazy incoherently ranting as he tightens his hold, breathing fast and uneven to make up for not letting lucifel breathe at all.]
