(no subject)

Who: Idols who care about plot
Where: Future is Now dorms
When: Day 148 - Evening to Night

[ Sometime during this fine evening, you may notice a text on Dissonance. ]

CEO: After-hour science exhibition at Future is Now.
CEO: All idols welcome.
CEO: At least one idol per unit attending preferable.

[ Should you stop by Future is Now, both doors (including the one past the snake pit) will be open. And Intensity (still sans one eye and arm) will be stapling and arranging pamphlets for people to take.

If you were perhaps hoping for free food or actual science--- sorry, his broke-ass doesn't have the budget for that.

The pamphlet contains the following:
  • Short cover letter about the now publicized Imeeji Intelligence Agency
  • Hell notes
  • Heaven and Imeeji Production notes

Come get your plot synopsis, friends. ]

[[ ooc: Feel free to assume that your character has picked up a set of notes even if you don't tag in. They are free for all.

Also, still working on wrapping up a few info gathering threads so new material may be added to these notes later. You can assume either this is the final version or that Intensity followed up and gave everyone who stopped by updated copies ]]

It is, and that's what the emergency contact system will be for. The contact's job will be information management and advising. I can see about requiring mission members to relay vital information to the contact if the team has to split up for any reason though.

Isn't that opposite of what you just suggested I do...? Bypass the contact and go to the source?

I suggested that for you specifically to avoid Intensity's condescension. It's not an effective method to use broadly because all it would do is wear out all of the sources to be questioned over and over by everyone who wanted information.

Well, so far it doesn't appear to be an effective method at all. Maybe if we actually get to the point where people have specific contacts they're telling everything and they're not worn out and reticent to start with.
    iamverybadass: (hmmm)

    [personal profile] iamverybadass 2019-09-04 10:26 pm (UTC)(link)
That is the plan now. You could wait for it to be put into effect, but I thought you seemed frustrated with waiting already.

I am. But I'm not sure going around questioning everyone after the fact is going to help much, either.

    [ He shrugs ]

I suppose it won't matter soon.

    What do you mean?

Because once the contacts are recruited, information will be easier to obtain. Assuming we build out the structure for it well.

    ...Mm. Hopefully.
