[ Should you stop by Future is Now, both doors (including the one past the snake pit) will be open. And Intensity (still sans one eye and arm) will be stapling and arranging pamphlets for people to take.

If you were perhaps hoping for free food or actual science--- sorry, his broke-ass doesn't have the budget for that.

It's fine. It's not like I haven't done plenty of arguing and demanding. And I'm also sorry if I sound short. I come off that way at the best of times, and I've been struggling with this stuff for a while.

Anyway, I was trying to do that in Liar Hell, but more than one person asked why I didn't just talk to him.

That is likely because they were in the middle of a mission. I would have brushed you off too if I'd been able to keep working on the Heaven side of things. It's easy to think of sharing information as a secondary priority when there's a kidnapping to thwart.

You may have better luck if you try now. Everyone is under much less pressure.

That's exactly my point, though. When there's a kidnapping to thwart or anything else like that is exactly when we should be sharing information, because getting as much information as possible and figuring out flaws in the plan is the only way it will actually have any chance of succeeding. Someone might be sitting around with a key insight or piece of relevant information or a unique ability and not be able to offer any of it because they have no idea what's happening.

It is, and that's what the emergency contact system will be for. The contact's job will be information management and advising. I can see about requiring mission members to relay vital information to the contact if the team has to split up for any reason though.

I suggested that for you specifically to avoid Intensity's condescension. It's not an effective method to use broadly because all it would do is wear out all of the sources to be questioned over and over by everyone who wanted information.

Well, so far it doesn't appear to be an effective method at all. Maybe if we actually get to the point where people have specific contacts they're telling everything and they're not worn out and reticent to start with.
