[ she turns onto her side, her tail lashing to and fro, because she's annoyed. not so much by the comments anymore, but because he's all the way over there and she wanted him all the way over here. ]

I met her at a bar and we went back to her place.

[ His eyes widen a bit, but then he just nods, slowly. ]

[ He straightens up and obliges by padding back over, wordlessly. ]

[ she straights up too. ok. ] ... [ she waits until he's seated beside her and then she'll reach for his hand. it takes her a minute to remember the vision, because there are other things she remembers too. her grip on his hand tightens and her gaze drops into her lap, ]

Clad in the earth she lay screaming in searing pain while all her flesh rends.

[ she's glad she's sitting because that familiar wave of vertigo is hitting her again, so she knocks into king. she blinks, retrieving her hand, so she can cup her face and stifling a strained laugh. ] I- I know it's important. It feels important.

He reaches for her shoulders in alarm when she loses her balance. ]

[ she sets her hand on his hand and nods, slowly. ]
