[One nerdlord is out and about the hotel and surrounding area, lugging around a metal briefcase as he is on the lookout for various people he needs to catch up with.

If you do manage to catch him while he is in transit, it is very obvious that he is missing his robot arm, has bandages covering one eye, and doesn't seem to be in too big of a hurry to deal with either right now.

He also seems grumpy, but hey - what else is new?

'Sup, Imeeji. How is your Day 146 going? Hopefully better than his.]

[ About 15 minutes later he has arrived. ]

Hello?

[Both doors to FiN are open. Both the front and the one after the snake pit.

Intensity is sitting at the cube table in the common room, papers and notes piled high around him.

He looks up when he hears Eclipse]

Enter.

[ He walks in and tries not to pause while walking through the dorm. It's only the second time he's been here and the aesthetic throws him off a little. Then he approaches the cube table. ]

Evening, Intensity.

[Points to a cube chair across from him]

[ He'll take a sit, then. ]

I'm guessing these are all notes?

Yes. Compiling everything that we learned from the trip. Though what I have for you is a little bit different.

My employees have told me that there is a lack of proper communication channels when dealing with sensitive matters and materials.

I'm looking to fix that.

...It's true. I was left in the dark for pretty much everything that happened, and when King did think to inform us he only gave one of us a vague "I'm going to do something dangerous" message and almost no other details. Since he was concerned about our messages being watched.

Mercury's already suggested we should have some kind of 'standard operating procedure', and I'm all for it.

...This looks pretty good. I'm only worried about the hotheads not thinking to submit their plans, or if they're in a situation where they can't share much information, if at all. But if they at least get into contact with one of the Points of Contacts, that already makes keeping relevant parties in the loops much easier.

I'm assuming for the most part the point of contact will be responsible for gathering and writing down most of this information.

People in the field hate paperwork.

Ah, that's fair. I get the feeling I'm already used to paperwork.

Were you a paper pusher back home?

I'm pretty sure I handled at least some of the records at the clinic, so yeah, I guess.

Well that's probably more experience than the rest of us.

The idea is we have enough coverage that everyone has someone they feel comfortable talking to.

And that in reverse, we're able to spread information where we need to quickly and effectively.

...Well, I think I'm easy enough to talk to, and I'm striving to avoid a repeat of my unit and a bunch of our friends just waiting around in dread while we had only a vague idea what happened. So I'd like to help out.

And on a scale of 1 to judgmental as fuck, how do you rate yourself?

I'm personally a 12.

[ A pause, as he seriously considers this. ]

At least a 7. Higher depending on what's being presented to me.

Then we'll have to keep you away from the emotional ones.

Or you can shadow B until you get the hang of things.

Let's just say being on my unit has been a learning experience and I appreciate all the more pragmatic people in my life now. If you need someone who's better at handling the emotional ones, Prim or Mercury are a better bet.

...But I'd like to shadow someone who's better and learn, yes.

There's no one better than B.

And that's not all we need. We also need people that can keep communication lines open between all of us if we're going to start spreading this net wider.

That, I can do. I'm assuming since you mentioned shadowing, you've thought of having secondary points of contact?
