Let's see....this one is Bai Mu Dan. Which is peony white tea. It's made from the first and second tips of a tea stem. It gets its name from, and I'm quoting what I read earlier here so don't laugh, 'the way the brewed leaves seem to bloom like the buds of the first flowers in springtime'. It has a mild peony aroma and has a beautiful pale color, the flavor is fruity, fresh, mellow and sweet and slightly grassy. It's going to be a fuller flavor than the one on the right, so please taste this one second.

The one on the right is Bai Hao Yin Zhen, or silver needles, which is the softer and more subtle one. It is made only from the single tips of the tea stem which when dried, look like silver needles. It has a light yellow color that matches the refreshing aroma and taste. I should have the smell of "fresh-cut hay", and the taste is best described as sweet, vegetal, and delicate. Enjoy.
