In this case, we were poverty level peons trying not to die in a corrupt industrial age hellhole.

Yeah, I did! It's not your fault it sounds like a bummer of a game... it's like... I don't even get how that's fun for the audience to watch.

You can't understand why people would enjoy watching others be put into desperate situations?

Of course I can... that's why they do the other death games. They like watchin' us suffer and agonize and go after each other. Bein' a coal miner wasn't even exciting for the people who were actually coal miners, so what's fun about watchin' that, even if people did get put through the wringer? What's next... makin' us paint a wall and then suffocate on the fumes while it dries?

They gave us dynamite.

And apparently some units tried to overthrow their oppressors because the whole town went up in flames and gun fire in the last round.
