[ hums a response and nods her head. yeeeep. ]

[ she doesn't move, though her head has dropped so that she's 'staring' into her lap. ]

[When he gets back, for the next 15-20 minutes she'll hear Intensity at random places around the lab.

The sound of something being carefully deposited in a metal tray in front of her. Small metal tools working. Light one-handed typing against the computer off to one side of the room.]

[ she is still in the same spot, though her hands have slid to the edge of the chair to deathgrip it as she listens to him moving about the lab all of a sudden. ]

[ it feels like she's been sitting here for an eternity. she's so sick of the darkness. it's going to drive her in-fucken-sane. ] ...welcome back. [ a bit delayed, but, yeah. ]

[ uses words to explain something like this. ]

But he's back soon enough, painting both the cameras and the infrared sensors to have that pattern so that they'll retain the color when he gadgeteers them to the eyes.

He's standing across from her, now the sounds becoming a mix of jars being shuffled and a brush against metal]

[ but, hm, let's take a different approach... it's time to count back from 100. ]

[ 100... 99... ] Is there anything in front of me? [ she lets go of the chair, her knuckles having gone white, though color is quick to return as she clenches and unclenches her hands. ]

[Though there is the sound of metal shifting in the main room]

[ she's not feeling confident enough in herself not to jostle the table, so she's just going to deflate a bit and- snaps straight back up at the sound, looking in its general direction. ]

[ looks back at intensity. ] What is that?

The personal assistants are well versed in handling the blind.

[Something bumps up against the side of the chair. If she reaches out to find out what that is, it will be Blue Eyes's snout]

How many blind people have you had to deal with? [ enough, apparently? ]

[ at least the warning keeps her from bristling too much in surprise when the dragon bumps the chair. ] Hey Blue-Eyes. [ sets a hand on her snout and sloooowly eases out of the chair. hopefully with the dragon's help she doesn't hit the table. ]

You do this kind of thing back home? Gadgeteer ability or not you seem to know what you're doing and then some.

[Blue Eyes acts like a seeing eye dragon, looping one arm lightly around dVa's forearm and giving little tugs if she's ever going to run into anything. If she follows the cue, she will indeed not hit the table.

Otherwise, she lets dVa have the run of the place]

[ she's going to assume it had been from a game... ]

[ takes the cues to avoid knocking into the table. he's working and she's not interested in messing things up. she seems to relax when she's able to move around more freely. takes a leisurely stroll around the lab, but stops near the shelf containing the apple... assuming it's still there. ~~soul sense~~. ]

Prosthetics or...? What kinda stuff?

[Blue Eyes follows her around obediently, giving cues when she's wandering to close to walls and things. Luckily the furniture is all floating, so Intensity can move that away with a thought if it becomes a problem]

[Her eyes wouldn't be of any help because Intensity has hidden the apple out of sight. Curious how she manged to end up right in the clutter of shelves and objects that's hiding it]

[ she turns to look in his direction when he explains solid vision, but it's more of a subconscious reflex, because it doesn't make any kind of a difference. she usually tries to maintain eye contact when chatting, but that's kind of impossible when you're blind af. ]

That sounds really cool. What kind of stuff did you want to do with it, though I suppose the sky's the limit with something like that.

[ she'd probably be a bit creeped out if she stopped to think about what she's doing for a couple of extra seconds. ] ...

[That's okay, d.Va. Intensity can be creeped out for you because he knows exactly what's over there.

[ card games are kind of boring so making them more interesting is definitely not something she's going to complain about. ]

Not in this particular instance, no. But the technology applies to them all the same.

And Go! Fish does seem to be an idol favorite.

What kinda game then? [ and don’t mind her reaching out toward the shelf. though she can sense her soul she’s got no idea what the hell the shelf looks like and what may or may not be on it. l- little help blue-eyes? ]

Go! Fish? For real? [ … ] Please tell me it’s played in the vid room on a boat and when you’re told to go! fish you get dumped into shark infested waters or something to literally fish for a new card. [ laughs. ] We should play sometime, Intensity.

[If she's going for the apple, Blue Eyes will guide hand (shoving the other junk out of the way with her snout) so she can easily reach for it]

[He laughs]

[ blue-eyes dragon is best dragon. ]

[ as soon as she's able she's going to grab the apple, turning it around in her hands, and getting used to the feel of it. feels kind of nice being so close to her soul again. ] ... [ sets it on blue-eyes head and then turns toward intensity. ]

Sure. Maybe I'll get to punch a shark. Ehhhhh.

[ gives him a smirk. ] Glad you're on board. [ ayyyy. ] I'll try not to sink the ship~ [ so their match doesn't end in another draw. ]

[Good thing she's blind so he can make a face about their last match-up. Yeah. Sure. Draw.

How about interrupted by a bout of insanity? That's more appropriate.

His tone is light:]

Oh don't hold back on my account.

It's not everyday I meet someone with a similar threshhold for adrenaline and pain. Might as well enjoy it.
