[ ?¿??¿?¿ ]
[ looks back at intensity. ] What is that?

The personal assistants are well versed in handling the blind.
[Something bumps up against the side of the chair. If she reaches out to find out what that is, it will be Blue Eyes's snout]
no subject
[ at least the warning keeps her from bristling too much in surprise when the dragon bumps the chair. ] Hey Blue-Eyes. [ sets a hand on her snout and sloooowly eases out of the chair. hopefully with the dragon's help she doesn't hit the table. ]
You do this kind of thing back home? Gadgeteer ability or not you seem to know what you're doing and then some.
no subject
[Blue Eyes acts like a seeing eye dragon, looping one arm lightly around dVa's forearm and giving little tugs if she's ever going to run into anything. If she follows the cue, she will indeed not hit the table.
Otherwise, she lets dVa have the run of the place]
Technology is my forte, yes.
no subject
[ takes the cues to avoid knocking into the table. he's working and she's not interested in messing things up. she seems to relax when she's able to move around more freely. takes a leisurely stroll around the lab, but stops near the shelf containing the apple... assuming it's still there.
soul sense. ]Prosthetics or...? What kinda stuff?
no subject
Solid vision.
Holograms you can touch. Interact with.
[Her eyes wouldn't be of any help because Intensity has hidden the apple out of sight. Curious how she manged to end up right in the clutter of shelves and objects that's hiding it]
no subject
That sounds really cool. What kind of stuff did you want to do with it, though I suppose the sky's the limit with something like that.
[ she'd probably be a bit creeped out if she stopped to think about what she's doing for a couple of extra seconds. ] ...
no subject
Flatly:]
Enhance competitive card games.
[By making it cause physical damage to players]
no subject
[ card games are kind of boring so making them more interesting is definitely not something she's going to complain about. ]
no subject
And Go! Fish does seem to be an idol favorite.
no subject
Go! Fish? For real? [ … ] Please tell me it’s played in the vid room on a boat and when you’re told to go! fish you get dumped into shark infested waters or something to literally fish for a new card. [ laughs. ] We should play sometime, Intensity.
no subject
Ha!
Is that how you want to play it? Don't get enough death-defying stunts in the games they offer?
[He laughs]
Well. Who am I to turn down a challenge?
no subject
[ as soon as she's able she's going to grab the apple, turning it around in her hands, and getting used to the feel of it. feels kind of nice being so close to her soul again. ] ... [ sets it on blue-eyes head and then turns toward intensity. ]
Sure. Maybe I'll get to punch a shark. Ehhhhh.
[ gives him a smirk. ] Glad you're on board. [ ayyyy. ] I'll try not to sink the ship~ [ so their match doesn't end in another draw. ]
no subject
How about interrupted by a bout of insanity? That's more appropriate.
His tone is light:]
Oh don't hold back on my account.
It's not everyday I meet someone with a similar threshhold for adrenaline and pain. Might as well enjoy it.
no subject
[ he's just jealous that he didn't think about riding the chain chomp! ]
I'm not going to hold back. I wouldn't want to insult you.
[ that earns a laugh. ] I could say the same. I don't mind having to pull my punches for some people, since, yeah, not everybody's into this sort of thing, but it's nice to be able to go all in.
So you never told me about the game your solid vision was originally developed for.
no subject
And she---
[Blue Eyes noses at d.Va, careful to not let the apple fall]
...is the most majestic of them all.
[Used to be able to say most powerful, but well--- Power creep]
Collectible card game where you outwit your opponent through skill and cunning. Pen and paper was the norm until my company took over the special effects.
Go big or go home.
no subject
And made it special x10. [ she wants to see all the monsters and cool card effects! ] Ha, is there any other way!
I want to see you in action sometime. [ to blue-eyes. ] Kicking ass, taking names, ...
no subject
no subject
I think I saw some of those cards in the shop too. If you get that fancy tech of yours to work here let me know. I'll add kicking your butt at duel monsters to my bucket list. [ pat pat. ] Sorry Blue-Eyes.
[ she follows his voice to him and sets her hands on his shoulders, leaning over like she can see what he's doing. ] Remembering speed dating?
no subject
[And suddenly she is close.
Very close.
Blind people can't see his fluster though so he's SAFE. (He can just blame any heat on the residual effects of the Castle game)]
Yes.
What about it?
no subject
[ she loops her arms loose around his neck so that they hang halfway down his chest. she's probably impeding his work a bit now, buuuut it's whatever. she hasn't seen for a couple hours, so a couple of extra minutes isn't going to kill her. ]
[ if all of their furniture floats, then a simple nudge to the table should send it away, so she can slide into his lap and tug him into a kiss. ] Finally decided I wanted that kiss. [ why? who knows. it could be a multitude of things. ] And I'm really looking forward to our next game. [ whatever the hell it ends up being. ]
no subject
Congrats, d.Va.
He is speechless.
And while she can't see his expression, the very audible clang of whatever tool he was holding hitting the floor is probably a good indicator of what it looked like]
no subject
...sounds like you dropped something. [ cheeky smile, because no shit sherlock. ]
no subject
You thank someone after they finish. After.
no subject
[ (๑ゝڡ◕๑) ]
Is that standard protocol for this sort of thing?
[ she tips her head in mock uncertainty. ]
