Some of you may have played this before! The area is familiar for sure: today's playing field is an expansive balcony with several mini-tables paired with two patio chairs each, garden umbrellas planted to keep the heat away. You can see the rest of the city from up here, too - it turns out you're pretty high up as you can even see the start of the Rainbow Bridge from here, though the railings are high so there's not a high likelihood of accidentally falling down.

There are a few pink lemonade pitchers scattered around with paper cups if you're thirsty, and some bite-sized chocolates if you're hungry. Cute snack food!

The instructions look familiar, too: it's a light game, with no enforced truth-telling even. No status effects! Just dates!

Well, I don't hold back. How have you been doing?

Well, I guess I've missed the technical point of the game, since I'm enjoying my time with people outside of my group the most. But I'd like to think that keeps with the spirit of the game, anyway.

And I managed to give the new avante a crisis, so I consider that a win.

I guess I should have expected you'd also make speed dating into a competition.

Of course. It's literally a competition, isn't it? May as well go all-out.

I'm not sure your date partner is who you're supposed to be competing with, but sure. Should I assume you've been sweeping everyone off their feet, then?

[ Gesturing for her to continue ]

[she rises from her chair.

if he wasn't expecting her to come over and literally attempt to pick him up princess-style... well, he should have, because that's what she's doing.]

[ He absolutely did NOT interpret that literally, so no, he's not expecting it. And she meets no resistance because he's clearly too comically startled.

[Nice. She doesn't even cheat with levitation, just lifts him up with her normal strength.

And she leans in to drop a kiss on his lips, briefly.]

[ Once the surprise wears off - which happens sometime mid-kiss, probably - his expression slowly morphs into a grin. ]

[With a smile that says she knows exactly what she's doing.]

[ He lifts one of his hands to the side of her face. ]

Nice try. But it's not that easy.

[ Yanking her down into a stronger kiss, this time. ]

[This is fine. She holds him closer to make the angle a bit more comfortable and kisses him hard.]

[ Nice.

But also. Welp.

Guess she's princess carrying him while they make out in the middle of the game tower. Nothin to see here!! ]

[There are a few things to see here. But they're also probably getting close to the buzzer, which means she doesn't pull away, and instead tightens her hands in his clothes and deepens the kiss. Gotta make the most of their remaining time.]

[ His lips curl against hers when she just pushes for more, tilting his head some to facilitate. His fingers thread into her hair for good measure, as they kiss their way through the buzzer. ]
