Some of you may have played this before! The area is familiar for sure: today's playing field is an expansive balcony with several mini-tables paired with two patio chairs each, garden umbrellas planted to keep the heat away. You can see the rest of the city from up here, too - it turns out you're pretty high up as you can even see the start of the Rainbow Bridge from here, though the railings are high so there's not a high likelihood of accidentally falling down.

There are a few pink lemonade pitchers scattered around with paper cups if you're thirsty, and some bite-sized chocolates if you're hungry. Cute snack food!

The instructions look familiar, too: it's a light game, with no enforced truth-telling even. No status effects! Just dates!

Yeah...? I think the only thing thing is Requiem dating Nemesis. But I'm pretty close with Cardigan, and we have some similar ways of looking at things, so... I wouldn't mind some kind of agreement, if the rest of you are interested.

Well, whatever. All this alliance stuff kinda goes over my head, personally? I'm just kinda going along with it.

...I'm not sure what we'd do for an alliance, exactly. There's agreeing to prioritize each other's unit's first... or second, or in a rotation, or something. Or there's just agreeing not to attack each other. But even that would be useful... most units are fine attacking ☆ZRAEL, and that might be even more true now.

...Only in games. But I held a Live a week ago threatening to do more than that, which is apparently way worse. At least when it comes to twisted panties.

...Though I guess torture might have been implied as a possibility too. It was a pretty vague threat.

...Cardigan made a similar threat in a live a while back, but I think people have mostly forgotten about that now. I'd say avante's generally pretty neutral-positive... not as popular as some units, definitely.

...And Taisho is almost certainly still holding a grudge.

Well, having a rival unit sounds kinda fun too. Man, I didn't peg Cardigan for being such a troublemaker. They really have been here a long time.

Yeah. Of course. I'm not sure exactly how, yet... but I'm not going to just give up. And I'm not going to just take a deal, either. Maybe Intensity will take over and become King of Hell. Maybe whatever's happening here will play out. Maybe I'll... figure something else out. But I'll get out of here, and to somewhere I'm not trapped at the mercy of anyone. And I'll have a big house with all my important people in it, because I'm not leaving them here either.

[Griffin's face softens, and a real smile slowly spreads over his face]
