[ Hello, Idols! Are you ready for a game?

Some of you may have played this before! The area is familiar for sure: today's playing field is an expansive balcony with several mini-tables paired with two patio chairs each, garden umbrellas planted to keep the heat away. You can see the rest of the city from up here, too - it turns out you're pretty high up as you can even see the start of the Rainbow Bridge from here, though the railings are high so there's not a high likelihood of accidentally falling down.

There are a few pink lemonade pitchers scattered around with paper cups if you're thirsty, and some bite-sized chocolates if you're hungry. Cute snack food!

The instructions look familiar, too: it's a light game, with no enforced truth-telling even. No status effects! Just dates!

I think these cards need to relax a bit.

[The lemonade and chocolate are starting to look suspicious now]

I know it's reality TV, but how freaky do they think we are?

[ she draws another card and... ]

Real freaky, apparently. [ reads: ] What body part seems tastiest?

Can't tell if that's horny or just promoting cannibalism, now.

[Flips through another one and it just says, Dominant or submissive? Griffin just makes a face - he doesn't read it out.]

Ha! I didn't even think about it like that. But, hm, it could be both.

[ oh, that face is telling. she's going to see if she can't reach across the table and grab that card. ]

[Card: successfully snatched. Griffin clicks his tongue, tsk--! but, whatever. It's just a card, don't make a big deal of it.]

Me? No. [ looks at the card. ] I'm just a dominant. It's what I do, probably. [ falls back into her seat. ]

Is this all we do? Ask each other dumb questions?

[Wow. She just out and said it. That's, uh, a dominant for you.

Griffin shuffled the cards in his hand and leaned back even further, tipping the chair backwards, in thought. After a moment of consideration, he leaned forward again.]

You wanna make more 'art'?

[ damn straight. ]

I'm never going to say no to making our brand of art. What did you have in mind?

I wonder if we could huck stuff over the balcony...

[He gets up to take a peek out over the railing. It's a pretty nice view, actually]

I don't see why not. Let's do it.

A real shame we can huck ourselves off to escape this bullshit.

Too bad we can't get paid for breaking shit in here.

[He flicks a card over the edge and watches it flutter downwards]

...I wonder if we could glide something over to the next building from up here...

Rails are on the higher side, [ she looks them up and down. ] but not something that could really keep us here if we wanted to jet.

[Griffin walks himself up the side of the wall and stands at the top, arms spread like ta-daaa~

Then hops off and lands where he was standing a second before]

We're gonna have to turn this umbrella aerodynamic...

Belt. [ snorts and pulls it out of her chest. ] How about that? But aren't you guys like swordupines? Can you pop swords out or just about anywhere?

True, but if we hold a bunch of jump down we might make it.

Eh, I guess... I don't think they'd be lasers, though. I'll give it a shot when I buy that one.

Well, I don't wanna turn into a splat on the ground while everyone who could heal us are stuck in here.

No, probably not, but that's still a really sick ability. Let me know when you get it, because I want to see it in action.

Mm, true, so I guess we're stuck here playing twenty questions.

[He throws a few more cards over the side. Starts folding one of them into a tiny paper airplane.]

I'll have enough to pay back Gold after this game. After that... dunno if I should get a memory first, or keep saving for those swords.

[ she grabs a glass of lemonade and drags her finger along its rim. ]

How about we talk post game?

[ so she can send him the points for a memory and he can concentrate on paying his unitmate back and buying another ability. ]

Too bad it's not infinite swords for real. They disappear if anyone else touches them.

Having a signature weapon just seems cool, y'know? Like they make you... you.

[ she's going to try to fold one into a heart instead of a football. ]

If you take a memory and find something neat in it you might be able to get it from the shop. I know guns are kind of limited, but swords and that sort of thing don't seem difficult to get.
