Nah. I just wanted to see if it was sturdy? So I jumped on it.

Turned out, it needed a couple more supports. And, uh. My leg's pretty heavy.

Incredibly heavy, apparently, but it doesn't seem to slow you down.

I mean, it's metal, right? Metal's heavy.

Kinda used to it by now, though.

[Heading back out into the main room, and instead of turning for the hall, he just - pulls the book off the metal bookshelf in the main room.]

[With steam rising and gears turning, the metal bookshelf will clack up the wall, revealing a wide and winding passageway with TOP SECRET and KEEP OUT and DO NOT ENTER warning signs on the walls.]

Whoa...

[ Steps back for just a moment so he can get a look at the whole system while it opens up. ]

Is this an upgrade your unit got? I didn't know you could get something this complicated.

Uh huh. We asked for a workshop, and they went nuts on the decor.

Not like I'm complaining. Pretty cool, right?

It's awesome! I've got to see if we can get something like it for Wild City.

Oh, man, if you do you gotta tell me what it's like.

I'll do better. I'll take a picture of it if we get one.

Can't wait to see.

[Heading on in! The interior is... also extra.]

[The passageway leads to a metal door with a ☣CAUTION: BIOHAZARDS AHEAD☣ plating. Opening the heavy door reveals a spacious room with a high ceiling, buttons lining the walls.]

[ Correction: the interior is completely rad. Talon looks suitably impressed stepping into the button-filled chamber, eyeing them all curiously. ]

Do these actually do anything, or are they just decoration?

[ HMMMM He picks out a bright blue one to press. ]

[WHHHRRRRRR. Down from the ceiling comes a platform on chains. It holds what looks like a few unfinished woodworking projects.]

[ Watching, just as impressed by this as anything else ]

Huh... You guys really do a lot of crafts.

S'why I wanted the workshop.

Stuff was just taking over my room.

What kind of things do you build? Other than the obstacle and motorcycle course things.

Me and Dva did a cat playground. And I helped Mori make a bed, once. I been working on a little version of the area around the hotel, too, and trying to do this one model I had in my memories.

Oh—kind of like an art project? I'd like to see it some time.

[Hesitates, then turns for the shelving along the far wall. He hooks his hand into the cabinet and pulls himself up, absently, to balance on the counter - grabs something down off the top shelf and then hops down again.]

[He brings it back over and holds it out, kind of cautious.]

[It's definitely not finished. It's also a pretty passable replica of what looks like a 1/6 scale figure of a power suit-style mech. It's sleek and slim, though the shoulders have a little bulk to them. It's made of what looks like twenty or thirty individual pieces already, each smoothed and sanded and glued into place. Only the head, torso, and right arm have been completed, and it's all plain wood, unpainted.]

...like I said. Still, uh. Still working on it.
