[We won a game, huzzah! Night 115 is when Pharaoh is coming back to the unit with a pink sensitiv sweater wrapped around his waist because his clothes went missing.

But day 116, he's got clothes again, hooray. HOW ARE YOU ALL?]

[ he just shrugs his shoulders at that and lets it drop there, drifting away from the conversation for a minute or two.

Thought I could buy you a drink and we could go sit on the balcony. Why not?

[ after a nod, he punches some stuff into his phone, walks off to the mailbox, then hands Doodle a bottle of red wine while keeping a beer for himself. ]

[heading to the balcony with him then]

[ follows him out, flopping down heavily on one of the cast-iron chairs. then he cracks open his beer bottle with his bare hands. ]

Haah...

[flopping down in another chair and taking out his knife, using it as a corkscrew to pop the wine bottle open]

Sure has been a day, huh.

Maybe the whole time we've been here.

... I dunno. It feels like everything was easier, in the beginning. Less complicated, at least.

[taking a long swig from his bottle]

Either way, it sucks. Never should've started caring so much.

[ snorts a laugh that's slightly self-deprecating ]

Don't really want to stop, though, so there's no winning.

Hah, right. I'm pretty sure I can't stop at this point.

[ a long stretch of silence, and another drink. ]

Who knows. Maybe I could, if I tried. That's the worst part.
