You could say that. How are you holding up?

I'm up. I talked to a bunch of people yesterday, so I feel... more under control.

But I'm still deciding what to do to her.

Mm. You're the one she hurt, so it's not any of my business what you decide. But do you wanna hear my opinion anyway?

Sure. I've been gathering ideas.

First of all, what's more important to you right now: revenge or making sure she doesn't do it again?

[rollplayinghouse]

...Obviously I don't want her to do it again, but... More like, I want to make her understand what she did and regret it.

But just hurting her isn't enough if it makes her feel like she slipped up, did a bad thing, got punished for it, and now everything is even.

I don't think anything's going to make her regret it, deep down. She's the kind of person who's not going to get better no matter what you do to her. The best she can do is repress those desires within her.

Then I'd rather she not suppress them and acknowledge that's who she is. That she did that because she wanted to, she likes it, and in that situation she didn't have a reason to stop.

But that's not what she's going to do. She's going to act all sad and martyred and regretful and half the people here will just accept that and argue it wasn't her fault, she didn't have full control, look at her she knows it was terrible and feels so bad, the games can force us to to horrible things, and on and on. Probably some of the same people who were furious at me for even suggesting I might consciously hurt someone for perfectly legitimate reasons.

Can't be helped. That kind of hypocrisy is just human nature.

Well, like you said. Some of it can't be helped.

But at least you can get revenge if you want. As an Avenger, I can only recommend it.
