My name is Kaguya. It's nice to meet you, Apple-chan. It's a cute name! Is that what was on your profile?

My profile had a really strange name on it... Woman of the beginning...I'm not sure what that means. Baron decided my name should be apple so I kind of went with that.

[ Nervous, and quite embarrassed giggle but much more relaxed now to be with another girl in this... strange place. ]

Have you been here for a long time..?

Mm, not really! Not even half a month. I'm really new, too! So I've been trying to get used to things myself, which-- well, it's not exactly easy, but I'm doing my best.

Although you're handling your arrival really well.

[She lifts a hand up and whispers conspiratorially]

When I first arrived, I thought I'd been kidnapped by a group of handsome men. It's kind of like an otome game, isn't it? Especially because I was the only girl here to start!

[ Wide smile as she's glad that there's someone she can seemingly conspire with here. Boy's club, no thanks. ]

Thank you. It's strange waking up and being told you're in hell.

[ And then a loud giggle at the thought of being in an otome game. ]

Have you... picked your route yet?

Ahh... picking is so hard though.

[ They're all so handsome! And she does... have a tiny crush on one of them, so far. But... he's already taken... ]

Anyway...what can I help you with? I know it's confusing, and kind of scary arriving here all of a sudden. Especially when you learn it's hell. But, if it makes you feel better... no one is here because they were a bad person or the like. We were just unfortunate enough to get drawn into this mess.

[ Excited little giggle and she's motioning her over to see if she would like to sit down with some tea and continue this happy discussion ]

I've only met a few of them but everybody's been very nice.

[ There is a short pause and then a little smile. ]

Baron is a little bit prickly. But Sol has been really nice.

[ Pausing for a bit and starting to mull over the idea of hell again. ]

Baron did tell me that our...fans..? Like to watch us...die. Which doesn't make sense at all.

[ She moves over, taking a seat to join the other girl. Her description of the others somehow seems to fit, and she can't help but smile a bit. ]

Baron is only like that until he warms up to you. Then he likes to tease and flirt a lot. Sol is really sweet, though.

[ She might have a mini-crush there...]

Once you get to know everyone here, I think you'll come to realize they're all good guys. They made me feel very welcome, and I feel pretty spoiled.

[ So she hopes that reassures her a bit. ]

. . . The fans, though...

[ She frowns. ]

They-- well, it might depend on the fan. But they aren't always that kind. We'll get fanmail monthly, and while sometimes you might get something nice, other pieces of mail are pretty disturbing. If you get something like that, try to ignore it if you can, and don't take it personally.

[Which is easier said than done.]

We're here... as entertainment. As disgusting as it is, I think they do enjoy the drama of watching us get hurt, or cheering for us over other individuals.

[ playing with the tea cup in front of her as she listens quietly about the fanmail ]

I can't imagine people enjoying seeing the things that Baron has told me about. Watching us hurt each other just doesn't sound nice at all. But I'll try to ... keep that in mind about the fanmail.

[ She takes a deep breath and tries for a smile ]

It's nice to know that I woke up with a group of nice people though. Some of the guys are telling me that there are some not so nice people in other units.

Well... that is also true.

[ Voice lowering ]

Between you and me, our unit is absolutely wonderful, but they can also be kind of... particular at times. Which can lead to difficult relations with other units. So while there is some merit to what they say, also try to keep an open mind about others.

[ Head falling to the table ]

Like with Avante. I was pretty frustrated with their unit during the auction game but... I'm trying to help mend relations between our units. It would be best if everyone could get along, right?

[ Please.... let them get past some of their more petty rivals.... ]

But, um... it is true that there are some people who aren't always that kind. Some are just rude, like Intensity over on future is now. He's not violent so far as I know. Just... rude.

[ She won't be inviting HIM over again. ]

Others are known for violence or cruelty. I haven't met him yet, but... there's an individual on Baritones who Shu-san knows from his homeworld. They have some bad history, and so it's good to keep an open mind but also be careful and use common sense too, I think. Taisho is in a pretty tricky spot, I feel... in that our unit has had bad relations with various other units in the past. I'd like to try and improve those, while also not disregarding the feelings of our unit members and moving forward cautiously.

[ goes absolutely quiet while listening to the story and drinking her tea as quietly as possible as well because this sounds so...high school in a way ]

It would absolutely be the best if everyone could just get along!

[ quietly pushing one of Baron's sweet treats towards her because the conversation sounds like it's getting heavy and... treats are always the fix ]

I never even considered that some of us might...be from the same home! And that some of our memories might overlap..?

But I completely agree with you. We should work towards uniting with the other units. I mean...if we worked together maybe we can even try to figure out more of what this place is and how we can all safely go home. Shouldn't we all be working towards the same outcome?

It's pretty crazy that when you consider all the people in the universe that they could draw together, that they would take some people from the same world.

I think it's because they think it adds more drama.

[ S-Sigh... ]

Actually, Rei-kun and I are from the same world, too. I don't... really have too many memories yet, so I can't tell exactly how close we are, but from what I've seen I think we're childhood friends.

Oh! It would be good to have a childhood friend here with you! Wouldn't it mean that...it's automatically someone you know you can trust?

[ little wistful smile ]

And overlapping memories to see your home.

I think so. Hopefully we'll get to learn a little more together, and overlapping memories could definitely help us both out. And yeah... it helps that we're on the same unit too, I think. I wouldn't want to have to fight against him in some kind of bad game.

[ actually has a little shiver at the thought of it ]

I can't imagine fighting friends from home. It makes you wonder thought, right? How many other people here might be from our home but we just don't know it yet..?

There are some people like that. Hiryuu-chan from Heart Soldier Senshi... she has a friend from home on SensitIV. So I can only imagine.
