[ when you are blipped to the game tower, you are herded into an elevator for your unit, which after a short trip stops.

you hear Lantana's voice on the elevator speakers: ]

"Well—I'm quite certain this shouldn't be a challenge for you. In fact, it's entirely possible for all of you to win this, and my sibling bet me that most of you wouldn't, so—"

[ she pauses, and sighs. ]

"Please try and prove me right."

[ and then the elevator doors open, and you are all released into a room with two doors. ]

[ when you have all been deposited unceremoniously into the lobby with your various horrible injuries, well—some of you can see Lantana. many of you cannot. but you can hear her very deep sigh. ]

Was it establishing too much of a pattern with the first two? Even so, I thought—well, there's much worse things that have been done...

Well, even so. At least only one of you thought "Excruciating Torture" sounded like a fine time. Sumire thought it would be more.

[ she snaps her fingers: pep!pep!, sensitIV, BAD END=DEAD END, Taisho Roman Revolution, Heart Soldier Senshi, avante en garde and future is now will find themselves healed flawlessly, and the memory of what they just suffered dulled. WILD CITY and ☆ZRAEL will find themselves healed serviceably... or in ☆ZRAEL's case I guess bone-hurting juice doesn't actually cause damage apart from mental so it does nothing for you, since for those two units the pain still remains. ]

[ LiliS, BARiTONES, and invited guests are directed to the 9th floor terrace of Mitsukoshi Ginza, which has been decked out in a modestly fancy party. Most notably, though the sun is out, the balcony has a dome-like roofing of vines and leaves, little ambient lights and flowers hanging from above. The balcony's gardens are decorated with a few green-and-claret reflective streamers, and there's lace tablecloth for every table, but other than that, it's rather humble, with naught more than a "CONGRATULATIONS" sign hanging over the graduation door that sits in the far back of the balcony for Sunny and Cypress to leave when they're ready. There's no red carpet, no microphone, and the music that plays is a soft piano melody.

Though the venue is humble, the menu is not—the variety is strong, ranging from Japanese to Mediterranean to American to Italian, and it's all easily restaurant-quality. The menu's strongest point is easily the desserts, both in variety and quality—and LiliS might notice that the menu and flavor profiling tends to skew to their preferences. The food might even taste familiar. ]
