She knows Primrose isn't hers, and moreover that Fox will always be much more important to her, and while that stings a little- she wants to be adored- she can accept it. She is wary of the idea of entering into committed romance or even friendship in most cases anyway. The paradox of wanting to get close to people and also wanting to hold them at arm's length.
