[you will probably find these in the vicinity of the park, around the breakfasting hour. Rye himself can be found on a bench, fussing over his phone]

[Memory 1]

[This memory features a young boy, possibly 10ish? He's wearing glasses and has a gun. He is.... in a zombie horror game??? He's locked in a delapitated building that is apparently full of the undead, backing his way through hallways, trying to shoot them with shaking hands, fumbling with bullets, shrieking when a door suddenly opens and a gross, pulsating, walking corpse stumbles out.

He is clearly terrified and also just as clearly Doing His Best, trying to center himself amidst the stress.

And!! He appears to be succeeding! But also he's crying?? It's no good, did you want to watch an upset 10 year old fight zombies today??

Towards the end of the memory he has run out of bullets, and has to get by via retracing his steps and scrounging up bullets he dropped from shaking fingers earlier, but he does, eventually, kill all of them. And only then does a tall man in glasses, dressed as a priest, appear to tell him he'd done well with a slap on the back and a pat on the hair ruffle.]

[There are two memories today, somewhere outside maybe? But the first is a simple memory of Angel meeting up with mushroom guy (whose apartment looks way better than her meager castle), and receiving a very nice watch from him.

The second memory is a little weirder. Her crew is exploring another labyrinth when they run into this creepo. To pass through the room, he says he wants to taste angel blood, and for some reason he looks at Angel in particular. Slot (Bark from Wild City) looks vvvvvvvverrrrrrrry tense about it, and the court seems VERY TENSE at Slot being TENSE. Maybe it's because of the part where he said "...Is there an angel here? I can kill them and give you all their blood." Maybe!

Angel doesn't really seem to notice the problem though, but does notice Walnut seems worried about it.]

[EVEN OZY HAS TRAINING MONTAGES! In it, he's making Ritsuka and Nitocris fight a bunch of sphinxes with zero mercy (which uses up his own energy). However, they manage to survive through all three fights, and he is actually impressed enough that even he admits to underestimating them. "From time to time, people raise a miracle."

This is all under a simulation room also, very much like the video room. Pretty futuristic for ancient Egypt probably.]

Somehow this is both terrifying and impressive all at once!

[ A public memory again-- he still doesn't think he has anything so dark in his history that would make him feel the need to make it private, especially when he doesn't have much money yet. This memory is an epic tale and lesson in what happens when dragons are separated from their mother! It's a story about survival, and what to do and not to do in the wild. ]

So it seems I am capable of killing a bear!

[ Hiryuu has apparently splurged for a number of memories today. If you're in the vicinity of the Hotel you'll probably be able to watch any number of them.

In the first, her friends are sick and nearby fighting threatens the people they're staying with; the Princess and her bodyguard discuss the prerogatives of the new ruler...

In the second, Raijuu ends up having to save her from a boy who won't take no for an answer. (CW: tae-jun is gross at this point in canon)

The third is kind of long--and involves a lot of talking about Kouka's founding mythology and some kind of prophecy...? Hiryuu looks troubled like she can't quite understand it, and follows it up quickly with the next.

Which is kind of a mistake, considering she ends up running away from an unknown person and finds out how her mom DIED which was... bad... but at least it's over quick.

She tries to wash away the taste really quick but honestly the last one is also rather unpleasant and involves being in chains and escaping a real nasty priest....

Anyway, she can be found outside in the courtyard thinking quietly to herself after they're finished, or you can probably reach her by text. ]

[ WOW. There are so many people he'd like to murder in all of this? Like stick his claw through their stomachs and make sure they cannot ever gaze upon her again. ]

[ When he finds her in the courtyard, he's draping his cloak over her shoulders wordlessly. ]

[Doodleman is taking some memories in the lobby! Fun times!

Well, maybe not so fun. The first one features his red-haired double having some complicated emotions about visiting his fahter's grave. But on the bright side, his name is finally audible so that's great!

Annnnnnd the second one involves Doodleman and a dying snake lady having a discussion about what it means to be a monster. It's a lot.]

[Watching the second one with a lot of complicated feelings that she doesn't understand yet- but there's an uneasy look on her face.

She doesn't exactly understand all of the terminology- of Rider and Servants and Masters but- something is resonating with feelings inside of her, that she does not have the memories or experiences to give context to.]

...Ah.

[In the kitchen — and when it’s quiet, taking out her phone and debating for a few minutes before finally selecting a memory and playing it. On the plus side, it involves tiny gap-toothed Adora (formerly Cap of Avante)! On the downside it also involves Shadow Weaver who is a jerk, so content warning for verbal and mild physical abuse of a child!

When it’s done, she abruptly frowns and gets up, and starts pouring glasses of water one after the other — then changing them into boozy mixed drinks. There’s like twenty by the time she’s done, but she’s not actually drinking them. Eventually she’ll just leave them so if anyone is brave enough to drink something they just found sitting around, free drinks I guess. Some are doubles.]

[Frowning as she sees the memory and eventually looking away out of discretion. She suddenly pays a lot more attention to the drinks.]

Oh. That seems like a convenient ability.

[ Shu gave her the points upon her arrival to receive a memory back. She thought she'd wait until comfortable and ready to finally watch. Maybe private would have been better, but it was his points and it really did feel wrong to waste them for no good reason.

Sitting comfortably in a corner of the Lobby, the memory that begins to play, once she purchases it, takes place when she is quite young.
